spaceace12 Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 Tap Water. mostly At restraunt. Coke/Pepsi Sprite or Tea.
QueerRudie Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 Coca Cola... Without question. I choose my airline based upon the soda they serve on board. That and their gin type. Gin is good, too.... There IS gin, right?
XII Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 For me, it's a tie between Mountain Dew Supernova and the Chinese Watermelon Soda they have at Epcot.
bspellx5 Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 Mountain Dew Code Red, and the Supernova I liked too but I can't find it anywhere anymore..
ebl Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 Just a note to those of you who drink regular Coke: if you visit a Mexican grocery store, you might find Coke made in Mexico. If you do, pick some up. See, what's different about it is that it's made with cane sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup. I don't know if Pepsi is the same way. Eric
Chris Benvenuto Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 For those wondering why Revoultion and Supernova Mountain Dews are gone is that they were prototypes in a promotion for a new mountain dew drink. Voltage won the so called Dewmocracy promotion, stupid Voltage, I wanted Revoultion to win. My favorite sodas are: 1. Mountain Dew 2. Coke 3. Cherry Pepsi 4. Vault 5. Sprite I have many favorites, that's just narrowing it down to 5
cycamps Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 My favorite is Cherry Coke or Pepsi, but I also really like root beer and Mountain Dew...
TheRapidsNerd Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 Just a note to those of you who drink regular Coke: if you visit a Mexican grocery store, you might find Coke made in Mexico. If you do, pick some up. See, what's different about it is that it's made with cane sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup. EBL, that is great stuff! Lucky enough to have some this past spring. It tasted better to me than American Coke. Not sure if it rivaled American Pepsi, but it was very good. My all time fave is Nitro Cola, which was around Nashville in 1993 and 94. Imagine Jolt, times ten, insanely sweet and you get the idea. Sure, you didn't blink the rest of the day and it hit you like a freight train, but so what? Yum!
emily>piers Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 I thought Pepsi Max has virtually no sugar? No it hasn't but I'm not allowed anything other than water or black coffee at the moment. I feel like I'm being tortured! No wine, Ribena, fizzy juice. Suuuck!
ebl Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 "It tasted better to me than American Coke." (TheRapidsNerd) That was how Coke was made before 1985. That's when they came out with the "New Coke," which was made with the high fructose corn syrup (HFCS). Remember that fiasco? Then the public outcry: "OH NOEZ!!1 U CHANJED TEH COKE??2? NO WAE!1!! PUT IT BACK TEH WAE IT WUZ!!1" Alllll righty...so they came out with "Coke Classic," not as sweet, but still made with HFCS. For awhile, they sold it alongside the "new" Coke. Over time, "new" Coke went away and the "Classic" part of the name faded away. Then we were left with what we have now. But in Mexico, they continue to use real sugar. Of course the corn industry swears it's chemically the same as sugar, but I have my doubts about that. It's all about saving money because HFCS is cheaper than sugar. Eric
paintballer Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 Wild Cherry Pepsi Baby! Other then that.... Plain Pepsi and hmmm, I can take or leave Dr. Pepper
tsmcdon Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 Coca-Cola is my favorite. It would be Mezzo-Mix if it was available in the US at a reasonable price. I found it on Amazon but its $1.89 a can plus shipping.
lil jimmy norton Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 Not sure if I posted in here already, but Dr. Pepper is my favorite. Cherry Coke and Pepsi are a second and third.
Dleo Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 Monster Energy!!! I usually have to have it on my coaster trips and start the day off with one. That stuff is awesome!
onewheeled999 Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 It's a tie between like five. Pepsi (better than coke) Mountain Dew: Code Red (Like drinking pure cherry syrup..) Dr. Pepper Orange Fanta (Love those commercials... ) Vault
coolhandluke Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 Just a note to those of you who drink regular Coke: if you visit a Mexican grocery store, you might find Coke made in Mexico. If you do, pick some up. See, what's different about it is that it's made with cane sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup. Ah, so that's it. I stock shelves at my Kroger and have wondered why they have special Spanish-labeled Coke (and in the international aisle, no less). I will have to give that a shot sometime. EDIT: I suppose I can answer the topic question while I'm here... 1. IBC Root Beer 2. Jones Cream Soda (it tastes just like liquid cotton candy, and I like lots of sugar) Of the cheaper stuff, I typically get Mountain Dew, or sometimes cherry Coke. Not a big cola fan. --Luke
astroworldfan1 Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 I';m also starting to like Diet Pepsi. -Tatum
black sabbath Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 My favorite soda is just regular Pepsi, and I also like Amp and No Fear energy drinks
ebl Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 ^^ Well, somebody has to... Diet Coke > Diet Pepsi Eric
Sticky Nicky Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 FavoritesDiet Coke, Dr. Pepper, and IBC Root Beer Least Favorites Pepsi, Mt. Dew, and Sierra Mist
onewheeled999 Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 I don't know. To me, maybe just because it's all there ever is in my house, I hate Diet Coke. It's pretty much flavorless, and is just overall boring. Coke Zero, on the other hand, it pretty damn good in my opinion.
Electerik Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 Hank's Gourmet Root Beer. It's made with pure cane sugar, and tastes slightly vanilla-y to me. I'm sure you can get it lots of places, but I discovered it at La Tolteca in Williamsburg, VA.
King of Ka Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 ^Hank's is great, I love root beer and Hank's is the best I've had. As far as generic brands, A&W root beer is the best IMO.
