There was a "Batman: The Ride" at Six Flags New Orleans that almost became the first defunct B&M coaster until it was moved to Six Flags Fiesta Texas as "Goliath"! I remember riding it in 1996 and this thing blew my mind. A few months later I got my first trip to Cedar Point and was introduced to Raptor my first invert. The rest as they say is history. I ended up riding Dragon Challenge later in the day, but the Hulk was my first B&M. I was 9 years old and have a slight memory that we started with Ice after a ride-op saw that and I was really nervous and recommended it as it wasn't as intense. For some reason I was far more terrified of Kumba than Montu, which I saw as the less notable little brother. That's how big of an impression being around Kumba was before I was old enough to ride coasters like that (I attended the park shortly after it opened, which was a HUGE deal).
