P. 512: Holiday World acquires Santa's Cottages resort

I agree, those Timberliners look great! No, there won't be a seatbelt which should improve capacity a bit. And I believe that the Timberliners were delayed and I think that they said that they weren't going to be ready by opening day.

^Yep. In fact the Voyage will be open for opening day, but the park will run the PTC train on it for opening weekend, then the testing process should begin with the timberliners shortly after.

I've been checking for this all week, excited to finally see it up ^_^

I'm going out to Holiday World for the first time the 16-17 and was starting to get nervous Voyage would be closed for testing the trains. Now I just need to hope these beauties get through their paces quickly and well!

Looks like a lot of airtime for a water attraction.

The Master Blasters look fun but the wait times can be excessive. Went to Schlitterbahn in New Braunfels TX in '08 and it had a 90minute wait so we passed.

Are they worth that?

^Well they let several trains full of riders on Voyage go in one of the worst thunderstorms I've ever seen in my life last year just before closing on the Saturday of Holiwood Nights. I only know that because I rode that beast in the 90% darkness, torrential downpour, and strobe light lightning that was ensuing at 8:30 that night. Most. Epic. Ride. Ever.

^If Dick Kinzel saw that, he would have a heart attack

If someone told Dick Kinzel to act as old as his management strategies, he would surely die.

On another note, This thing looks WICKED! I thought it would be 'meh' when it slowly ascended the multiple ramps and I thought surely one would launch it up the hill, but it exceeds expectations! And it's continuous circuit lifts the capacity 100%! Short(er) lines all the way!

^Better watchout giraffe boy!

I never considered that one. Me being the giant that I am, it might be a little nerve wracking. But will that stop me? Hell no!

On a completely separate note, there are two TPR members who are unusually tall, named Steve, and have a deep love for all things Gators. Where's the Twilight Zone music when you need it?

For a little comic relief, here's a picture of me at the KD Boo Blasters queue and the random Gators sign they had there.

Considering the weather tomorrow,

THATS WHATS UP!!!

Can anyone else confirm a similar report?!

It is as epic as punctuated above should you be at a park that gives the opportunity to risk your life in a storm on any woodie.

Thanks Waldameer!

Stupid question of the day, is this new ride part of the waterpark or part of the normal park?

Cause there seems to be a huge amount of wetness!
