cal1br3tto Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 So basically, your ears might not bleed from the coaster anymore, but now your eyes will instead? I hope they come up with a better color scheme to refresh it with. Even the current color looks borderline ok to me.
Woodie Warrior Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 Green track with black supports or vice versa would look nice.

GwaziBSRider1 Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 If they do repaint it, I really don't think they should use the same color for the track and the supports unless it's white. For some reason, an all white coaster entices me more.
Vonni Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 Red track with Black supports would look nice, if the SLC must stay lol.
Double0Kevin Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 I'm a fan of all black. I'd say keep the colors as is but with a fresh coat to make it all shiney and new looking again.
Vonni Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 ^ and ^^ When T2 was painted all black it was supposed to receive a Batman transformation (when SF owned KK) but it never came to fruition.
Rollercoaster Rider Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 I just think they should rename it Batman. I doubt Ed Hart has enough money to pay Six Flags/Warner Bros. for 1 ride name.
A.J. Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 In fairness, Kentucky Kingdom's new park map does have an "opening in 2016" over an apparent graphic of T2.
Ape Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 I hate and love the original paint for t2 at the same time.
PVA62 Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 In fairness, Kentucky Kingdom's new park map does have an "opening in 2016" over an apparent graphic of T2. Did they change it? I thought it was supposed to open in 2015. Then again I'm probably wrong about that, my mind likes to play tricks on me haha.

Aceattack52 Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 I just think they should rename it Batman. NO! This country doesn't need any more Batman themed anything. The Six Flags chain has well taken care of that.
DBru Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 ^ and ^^ When T2 was painted all black it was supposed to receive a Batman transformation (when SF owned KK) but it never came to fruition. Yup. This was the joke...
Woodie Warrior Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 I mean, I could care less what color they paint T2 (well, as long as they don't paint it all bright pink/red). And I really don't care if the ride is that rough, because they already have two good coasters coming in 2014, and hopefully a RMC version of Twisted Twins in 2016.
MattyboiTN Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 The last time I rode T2 I thought I was going to die. It was so rough and seemed like it would shake apart. As for colors I vote Black & Dark Purple. Theme it something spooky, never really cared for the T2 name.
Midgetman82 Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 ^The name is always the misunderstood part of it. It's literally short for Terror to the Second Power.
cfc Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 I just think they should rename it Batman. NO! This country doesn't need any more Batman themed anything. The Six Flags chain has well taken care of that. How about BatBat? They could probably get the rights to the character cheap.
gerstlaueringvar Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 ^ They could make the park so cheap by using that character though...
Woodie Warrior Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Any ride themed to Bat Bat is a win in my opinion
Rollercoaster Rider Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Any ride themed to Bat Bat is a win in my opinion Even the Boomerang at Canada's Wonderland?
traincrossin Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 I am thrilled to announce that Irvine Ondrey Engineering will be doing the controls for Lightning Run. This is really exciting for us and we are looking forward to sharing construction updates on both our facebook page and here. This one was a hard secret to keep because we think this ride will be a huge hit! It's truly awesome to be part of the rebirth of Kentucky Kingdom and we wish the park all the success in the world. Any questions you have on the control system for the new ride feel free to ask! Have you encountered any unique challenges so far during the Lightning Run design process?
XYZ Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Any ride themed to Bat Bat is a win in my opinion Even the Boomerang at Canada's Wonderland? I never knew that CW's boomerang was themed to Bat Bat...
