robbalvey
Hey everyone! After about 30 hours of traveling we have finally arrived in China! Beijing to be exact. It was quite the long journey to get here, even longer for a few of our UK members, but we have settled into the hotel and ready to go for some "culture" tomorrow. I will try my best to post regular updates as I can! Day Double Zero - Arrival day (Scroll Down) Day Zero - Culture Day! Sorry guys, after 25 to 35 hours of traveling, this was the best we can do! We will meet up with the rest of the group tomorrow when the official tour begins! You guys getting hungry yet? "Donuts??? Where are the donuts??? Ahh, hell, I'll settle for these french fries." Once again I'm happy to report that traditional Chinese food in China is pretty much the same as a "good quality" chinese place back home. Joey goes right for the booze! (Apparently Jeff thought it was 11% alcohol but then we realized not only is he old but also retarded!) We have arrived in Beijing! First order of buiness? FOOD! Yet another reason why international carriers are FAR superior to American airlines. This is what I saw in front of me when I woke up... First we'll make a quick layover in S. Korea...but don't worry...we will be back to conquer T-Express later in this trip! KidTums thinks it pretty sexy too! Our aircraft of choice...this snazzy Korean Air 747 equipped with all the bad movies you can watch at your finger tips and an outlet to plug your laptop into! Yes, all this in economy!!! LAX's "old and new" terminals....Um...they look EXACTLY THE SAME!!!! Elissa and KidTums looking slightly worried...don't worry! Everything will be fine! disneylanddork50
I was in China a little under two months ago, and I love it over there. The people are so nice to you. The Government is whack, but other than that, it's such a great country. I cannot wait to see all the theme parks y'all go to. I am curious to see what you guys think of Chime-Long Paradise when you get there. Dive Coaster awaits you. >>Jake
DenDen
I can't wait to see the "TPR Take" on China's parks, and the curiosities I'm sure you'll run into. Just DON'T GET ARRESTED!
Kalepi_Konei
Just DON'T GET ARRESTED! Yeah I was gonna say that too! Anyways I can't wait for these updates the Asia and Europe trips are my favorite you guys do because there are so many antics just "waiting" to be pulled off. Have a good time China! coasterdude5
Very interesting update. I agree, the before and afters look very similar... I probably wouldn't notice the difference. I don't like Asian food so I'm glad to see french fries! It's safe for me to go to China now! Looking forward to more updates.
RIP Psyclone
My my, how time has flown by. It seems like only yesterday the Europe trip was beginning (unless you went on it, then it probably seems like years ago). Can't wait to see the first park you guys visit. Oh, is Hot Fuzz Rich a picky eater?
TheRapidsNerd
Glad you all had a safe trip and have a great time there. Watch out for Mongolians and City walls. Oh, and a slightly off topic, here's a restaurant in DC that buddy of mine snapped a pic of. Figured you all could appreciate it. Cheers and Best! Yes that's really the name. JimmyBo
Good to see that you guys made it over there in one piece. I bet all the tourists are gone and BeiZING is pretty deserted since the Olympics just ended. Perfect timing for a trip. Try to have fun and try not to leave too many people behind from over sleeping! Jimmy "Is it tomorrow in China now?" Bo

RCFreak
^If people can survive living in Southern California in the summer and it's pollution, I'm sure CHina isn't much worse lol. I'm glad you guys made it over safe and in one piece and I hope it stays that way the rest of the trip!
taytig
Wish I could be there - too bad this work thing gets in the way. I am looking forward to the updates and TPR antics.... David
printersdevil78
Wow, an official front-page TPR trip update from a trip I wasn't on? I haven't seen that in like a month! Can't wait for the China trip to really ramp up. The TRs from last year's Japan trip were what made me want to do a TPR trip in the first place. EDIT: I'm sad now that I realize it's been nearly a month since I've been on a TPR trip.
