p. 832: Camp Snoopy announced for 2024!

^^If that truly was the case, CF wouldn't have purchased anything from Intamin after installing Perilous Plunge @ KBF. If a particular product Intamin offers fits CF's project needs then it will be purchased. Just because they haven't purchased from them for a few years does not mean their relationship is non-existent.

So more stakes and footers are showing up in that small area and not much has been seen going into the valley. This seems like it will be pretty compact whatever it is. Judging by what's there now, I'd say it'll probably be a B&M inverted coaster. If this is true, I'm pretty excited, because I love inverts. I'll probably be happy with whatever goes in regardless of what it might be, though.

^^Makes complete sense as they are trying to focus more on infrastructure and attractions that have something to offer for the entire family.

^An invert is just what this park needs. Let's hope this is true.

Well, based on the pics of the footers, you can pretty much tell for sure it will at the very least be a B&M (if there was any doubt left). B&M have a very unique connector plate between the supports and footers where the bolts attach to. It will also show the direction the support leans.

It just dawned on me the true spelling of the word STAKE. Curse you, English language!

Anyways, it looks like SlingShot won't be relocated since the two triangle footers behind it clearly show coaster footings grouped together.

I'm gaining more and more interest in this project now. An invert would definitely help round out the coasters in the park (and that's the direction I believe it's going) but I'm secretly hoping for another dive machine in the states. KI is the closest I can easily get to the the DM's here already haha.

I just got back from a trip to Virginia. I rode my first B&M dive machine (Griffon). The first drop was intense in the front row. it looks kind of weird with that giant akward train and was short in length. I also got a ride on another B&M invert (Alpengeist). Alpengeist is very fast and smooth but not forceful at all. The Raptor at Cedar Point is much more thrilling.

I'm hoping that KI does not build a dive machine, and if they build an invert it should be low to the ground, forceful and intense. Rumor has it that This coaster will be Cedar Fair's biggest investment to date which should put it over $30 million. Whatever it is, it's going to be big (very tall or very long). I'm still hoping for a inverted giga but chances are slim. KI has a tendency to push boundries so this may be something new. Cable lift B&M? Launched B&M? Time will tell.

This may sound weird, but I love the fact that nothing has been leaked or revealed about this coaster other than the name. I really like the speculation aspect and am going to be surprised/excited with whatever it may be.

Couldn't agree more! It was kind of upsetting during Skyrush's "Project 2012" discovery, when the township leaked it out how tall the coaster was. Hopefully this stays in the gray

Just a rumor from a while ago. Seems like someone living in Mason is friends with a higher management person at KI who mentioned that it was very close or going to be Cedar Fair's biggest investment ever. Again, a rumor, but I could see this being the case. KI draws LOTS of people and needs another media grabbing fun machine. Something to fill the skyline to be seen from I-71 and to make them more than a regional player. This coaster is probably going to be just the thing.

Wow, this coaster looks promising, at least from the rumors. I do really hope this will turn out to be a B&M invert, that would (or could) be awesome, specially if they go for some record of this type of coaster.

Didn't Gatekeeper cost almost 30 million dollars? Not that this ride won't be huge, but Gatekeeper isn't even 200 feet tall.

I think that was the total investment including the demolition, front gate renovation, and the ride. But not totally sure. Nonetheless this shall be a pretty nice investment since they already started construction

Hopefully this park gets something other than a Giga coaster. I know it worked for CW, but I find the whole Idea of the same ride, just taller, to be a waste of an investment. A wing, Invert or a Dive coaster would bring a whole new dimension of coaster riding to the park.
