Double0Kevin Posted December 21, 2013 Posted December 21, 2013 Can't wait for the coming weeks, such an exciting time in the dome.
3Mutts Posted December 21, 2013 Posted December 21, 2013 That car looks so great on that track, seems like this will be a great addition for Adventure Dome.
rctneil Posted December 21, 2013 Posted December 21, 2013 Can't wait to see those cars flying around the track. Looks like it should do brilliantly for the Adventuredome.
PeoplemoverMatt Posted December 21, 2013 Posted December 21, 2013 Can't wait to ride this next summer!
larrygator Posted December 21, 2013 Posted December 21, 2013 John - thanks for your continued updates. I've turned all your work and previous news about Adventuredome into an Official Discussion Thread
Robocoaster Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 Is it late January yet??? No? Damn! Where's a TARDIS when you need one?
Mr Stratosphere Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 John - thanks for your continued updates. I've turned all your work and previous news about Adventuredome into an Official Discussion Thread Amazing!! And thank you everyone for taking the time to take a gander at my updates!
rolercstrluvr Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 It's our pleasure John, I just can't wait to get out to Vegas and see this thing in person. Last time I was at the dome, I was 13.
daveydo5172 Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 (edited) I decided to make my way down to the dome today. John has been doing some amazing updates, so I just waned to compliment his updates with a few pics of my own. But first, I want to say, the inside of the dome looks amazing...clean and fresh paint everywhere, I haven't seen it look this good since it opened. I added pics of the park as well, including the Canyon Blaster. And yes, the main part of the Rim Runner is still there, including the lift hill! Now if only they would add a real dark ride, the park would be perfect! This coaster is just overwhelming inside the dome...its huge! Glad I took pics with people on the floor, to truly get a vision of the size of El Loco! The Car! The main body of the ride, taken from the Cantina. chain in process of being attached Canyon Blaster station Departing the station! Both coaster are rather close to each other at this point! screaminkid2005 Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 Great photos! I wonder if they are going to get rid of the rest of Rim Runner now or just leave it until they need to make more space.
rcjp Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 Looking great but I seem to have a bit of difficulty following the layout.
A.J. Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 Hang on. Has that one Canyon Blaster support always been black?
daveydo5172 Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 Its actually an extreme dark purple, and theres more than one support in that area that is that color. Possibly due to the attractions in that area, or even due to the fact that there is a Frightdome haunt also in that area.
KBrylczyk Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 I feel like this is one of those rides I'll be on saying "Why the heck is it doing this? What? Why did it just do that? Who thought of this? What drugs were consumed?" In a good way, of course.
jynx242 Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 ^ You will. The one at Indiana Beach had me going WTF the entire ride I love how El Loco elements often look just "wrong." Thanks guys for all of the updates on this. Looking forward to seeing the finished product!
rctneil Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 Really enjoying following this. It's very nice to see a new El Loco with a slightly altered layout to fit the area and seems to have a good (albeit unusual) selection of elements.
jray21 Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 I'm loving all the updates! I might be able to stop by in a few weeks and check it out myself!
rolercstrluvr Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 I'm waiting for this to open and maybe the ferris wheel as well before I come back to Vegas.
Double0Kevin Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 ^ The ferris wheel is going to be a few months after El Loco... I guess I'll see you this summer!
rolercstrluvr Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 ^Ok, I guess the wheel can wait. I just want to get back there sometime soon and go back to the dome.
ArizonaGuy Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 Can't wait to get these credits. Been to Vegas so many times in the last 4 years and the only credit I've gotten was Rollercoaster at NYNY.
DBru Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 Thanks for the continuous updates, John. I love everything about this addition. It has definitely put Adventuredome on my must-do list when I visit Vegas.
619fan Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 I'm really looking forward to ride El Loco... But I think I have to wait about 4-5 years. It's not so good to fly long distances from Germany to the US with a little baby... But due to all the updates it doesn't makes me that sad.
jedimaster1227 Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 Very interesting to see that portions of Rim Runner remain mostly intact. I'm curious to see if they'll do anything with the troughs and lift hill at some point in the future.
