I hit up Indiana Beach for the final day of the season yesterday and I have to say that inch for inch Cornball Express has to be the best coaster out there. It definitely does the most with the least.

This got me thinking, what other relatively small coasters give amazing rides?

If you count 75ft, then Cyclops at Mt. Olympus easily takes this. The airtime is out of hand.

I'm personally on the CanobieFan bandwagon, as I like LoCoSuMo more than Cornball.

I'm not exactly sure if this is under 75 ft., but if not, it's probably around 80. Nightmare at Joyland in Wichita, KS surely takes the cake. Ride in the back. It was scarier than X.

under 75 feet, there is probably only two I ahve ridden, (one I am not sure of). Tripple Hurricane and Locosumo. Of those two. (I can't believe I am saying this) Lost coaster is the best one I have ridden.

I really like The Giant Dipper at Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, it's 70ft tall with good airtime and nice pacing. Also, the tunnel it drops into at the beginning is pretty flippin' sweet.

Cornball Express. No question in my mind. I think I have it ranked #3 overall right now anyway. It really is a great ride.

Cornball is pretty friggin good

Cyclops is just INSANE (but i think elevation-wise it's a little north of 75 ft.)

and also, Judge Roy Scream (SFoT), coming in at 70ft., is one of the better ones. It doesnt really stick out, but it is a genuinely fun ride, with great speed and airtime (in parts...). It's gotten a little fiestier with age, but it's still one of my favorite woodies. Oh, and it was my first coaster

Okay, I thought cornball was taller, I guess not. Cornball, no doubt.

Nope, Cornball's just 55 feet tall, according to RCDB.

Blue Streak at Cedar Point. I went on it expecting a mild, smooth ride like Thunderbolt at SFNE, but was majorly suprised. Great airtime on pretty much ever hill. So what if it is 78 feet and not 75 feet or under? Does 3 feet really matter that much?

The Knoebels Phoenix - 78 feet tall with a 72 foot drop - averages right to 75. This is my favorite woodie - its just so much fun. Yeah, Hades is great, and El Toro is pure brawn, but I'll take a night on the Phoenix over any of them.

Phoenix is 78 feet tall, but its drop is only 72 feet. I'm going to go with Phoenix because I really can't think of a coaster with more airtime at any size. Cornball is really good also, but not quite at Phoenix's level of quality.

I haven't been on Phoenix, but out of the ones I have been on, definitely Cornball Express, that absolutely rocked in the back.

Cyclops at Mt Olympus is my strong second scraping in at 75' tall with a 70' drop.

Honourable mentions to Jack Rabbit and Thunderbolt (70' tall but 95' drop)at Kennywood.
