Capitalize Posted July 22, 2009 Posted July 22, 2009 Knoebels sometime in August along with Water Safari...Then SFGAv (1st time!!) over Labor Day. Any advice on that park and how to get around in it? Flash Pass or prepare to wait in many, many long lines...
expeditioneverestfan Posted July 22, 2009 Posted July 22, 2009 Mt.Olympus and probably Timber Falls this weekend. I can get my first ride on Hades and Hellcat. Can't wait for Hades front row action.
coastersrule85 Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 ^^Just a word of advice, on Hades be prepared for a bit of a slam to the left as you are going back under the parking lot. When we were there about a month ago, a boy got off of the coaster and had a tear in his left ear from hitting the car. Then my friend got severely bruised ribs during his one trip on Hades. We were riding along having a great time, hands up and hollering like crazy. Then, when were about to come back up from under the parking lot, I realized that my friend was suddenly completely quiet. When we got back into the daylight, I looked over and he was holding his side and grimacing like he'd been shot or something. When we got off of the ride, after making sure he was okay, I laughed my butt off at him and rode another three times. That being said, Hades is an awesome coaster! As for me, I'm heading to SFOT tomorrow to soak up a little Texas heat and catch a few rides on Titan and Texas Giant(yes, I do enjoy Texas Giant). Actually, it's only going to be 97, and at least up there it actually will be a dry heat.
expeditioneverestfan Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 ^ Thanks, I'll remember that. Does it help if you sit on either side?
kingsdominionlvr Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 Six Flags Great Adventure! I am from New Jersey (moved to Northern Virginia), so I may even get to see some of my family!
metrock Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 I'd imagine it will be Disneyland on my birthday. Yay for getting old!
FeelTheFORCE Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 Kings Island on Monday, the 27th, and hopefully Holiday World on Tuesday the 28th (if it doesn't rain). I just want to ride Voyage a couple times, then it can rain all it wants.
coastersrule85 Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 ^ Thanks, I'll remember that. Does it help if you sit on either side? It definitely seemed more comfortable to me when I sat on the right side. Even when riding on the left, I just made sure I was ready for it and did fine.
