^Yup, backrow, the best place for Skull Mountain rides. Of course, that was after 4 waitless rides on El Toro and a ride on Batman and Nitro, in addition to Rolling Thunder and the other kiddie coasters; all in less than 2 hours, on a Saturday in the Summer!!!

Deja Vu @ SF Great America last Tuesday. Unlike Skippy I had only wonderful experiences on this beauty all 7 times I rode it. Is it wrong of me to say this Vekoma has downright sexy curves? It's the dirty, hard-rock, younger sister to Mr. Freeze's Harvard-trained older brother. If that makes any sense.

Last tuesday: Revolution at Bobbejaanland (Belgium). A copy of the late chaos coaster at Opryland. one weird coaster...but I really like it. too bad the projection screen at the bottom was removed many years ago...

Revolution at SFMM yesterday! Even though we'd been on "x-treem" stuff all day, my whole group agreed that Herr Achterbann's classic was a sweet way to end the evening. I'm always surprised by how well the '70s loopers hold up.
