boldikus Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 Nitro with ConeyIslandChris last night, not stapled and in my favorite seat. It was very sluggish in the morning but warmed up nicely in the evening for our last rides of the season.
lond Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 The last official ride on Kanonen @ Liseberg last Friday. Â /// Marcus
ytterbiumanalyst Posted January 3, 2017 Posted January 3, 2017 Thunderation on 12/26 was my last roller coaster of 2016. It's officially the offseason now, until 3/15.
Nrthwnd Posted January 3, 2017 Posted January 3, 2017 ^ Lucky you. Playland(PNE) doesn't re-open until May 6! Â Â ^^ Also, sorry for your coaster loss Marcus. But glad you got to ride it a few more times. Â EDIT: Actually, the indoor midway that travels through here yearly, is coming back in mid-March. Maybe they got a powered coaster I can ride and count, hee hee hee.
Adam_Sparks Posted January 3, 2017 Posted January 3, 2017 Last coaster I got on and for a while until the new season starts was Olympia Looping at Winter Wonderland Hyde Park! Such a good travelling coaster   Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
michaellynn4 Posted January 3, 2017 Posted January 3, 2017 Nitro at SFGAdv. In the cold rain. My face is still recovering.
coasterbill Posted January 3, 2017 Posted January 3, 2017 Freedom Rider at IPlay America yesterday. Holy crap these SBF spinners pack a punch. Â
SteelForceless Posted January 3, 2017 Posted January 3, 2017 Freedom Rider at IPlay America yesterday. Holy crap these SBF spinners pack a punch. Well at least someone is enjoying these. I rode one of these recently at a family fun center, and it barely spun at all. Maybe the weight distribution was off?
coasterbill Posted January 3, 2017 Posted January 3, 2017 Well at least someone is enjoying these. I rode one of these recently at a family fun center, and it barely spun at all. Maybe the weight distribution was off? Â We spun so much it was hard to walk straight after we got off. I guess it's just the luck of the draw.
Mater Posted January 3, 2017 Posted January 3, 2017 Perfect duel on the last train of the day on Twisted Colossus last Tuesday.
Yubstep101 Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 American Thunder SFSTL back row. What a great way to end the 2016 season!
I Like Theme Parks. Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 Surprisingly, my final coaster of 2016 (and for the season) wasn't at Great Adventure. It was Gatlinburg Mountain Coaster! It's my least favorite alpine coaster I've ridden, but still much better than most coasters in general.
thrillseeker4552 Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 GhostRider yesterday afternoon. Despite being a fairly cool day, it was completely hauling a$$. Absolutely LOVE what Knott's did to the ride.
cparkes92 Posted January 18, 2017 Posted January 18, 2017 This fantastic new coaster, that immediately jumped into my Top 5!!! Definitely a great "final" coaster to close out my 2016 riding season with! (And it was in the dark, at night, to boot!) Â Lucky that you got to ride Lightning Rod! Â The last coaster I rode was Raptor at Cedar Point (in June!)
thrillseeker4552 Posted January 18, 2017 Posted January 18, 2017 Silver Bullet last night at Knott's. Girlfriend was crazy scared but ended up loving it.
gerstlaueringvar Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 Hyperspace Mountain at Hong Kong Disneyland.
EccentricGamerCL Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 Thunderhawk at Michigan's Adventure. I regret nothing, even if it is an SLC.
viking86 Posted March 28, 2017 Posted March 28, 2017 So I got a surprise credit on Saturday! I was in Hamburg for the weekend, but when I was travelling down there I had no idea that Hamburger Dom started the same weekend. Once I realized and I saw that Teststrecke (formerly known as Laser at Dorney Park) was on the lineup I had to go check it out. Â The ride looks great with it's fresh colors. It definitely does not give a feeling that you're getting on a ride that's nearly 40 years old. Unfortunately I found the trains and restraints to be very uncomfortable, and I would much rather prefer to have the original trains or maybe the Gerstlauer trains that they put on Sooperdooperlooper, those also looks great. But that being said, the ride itself was great. We were riding in the front of the last car, and while it wasn't as intense as I thought it would be, it was definitely a lot of fun. But perhaps most impressive of all is that it was SMOOTH AS GLASS!!! I've been on a couple of Schwarzkopfs so I know that they are generally smooth rides, but I didn't expect smoothness on this level of perfection. Â Overall well worth the 4 Euro I paid to ride!
