Seriously, they're just messing with us. Togo? I guess no one bit that the park is going to take King Cobra and put it on the Millennium Force island.

Part of me wants to think it's a coaster, but TypicalCPFanboy on Twitter said it's gonna be a quad decker carousel.

+1

Wooden twisterrrrrrr, anyone?

On their Facebook, they said "Gee, See Eye" So I take it that it will be a GCI coaster next year?

On Screamscape, they also mention the GCI that was gonna go to CGA will go to CP but it will go by Disaster Transport and Demon Drop in the employee parking lot...

This is the 3rd or 4th time in the last 3 pages someone has posted this in the thread.

Cedar Point really likes messing with people. I doubt there is anything you can read into all these so called "hints".

I agree, a park like Cedar Point just loves to mess with us. Sure some clues might be right but there are alot of clues that I bet are wrong or wrongly interpreted.

Its still fun to let the rumors fly though.

It's probably not going to be anything exciting. Everyone expecting a GCI with a splashdown underground finale is going to be disappointed.

My guess: An upgraded bathroom. Oh, and if they build a ride on that island spot, it'll be a flume. A couple of tunnels, big drop and splash at the end.

HEY GUYS OH MY GOD CEDAR POINT JUST UPDATED THEIR FACEBOOK.

Cedar Point Harnesses? Check. Wheels? Check.

THE NEW RIDE WILL HAVE HARNESSES AND WHEELS!

Maybe checks like on a... CHECKERED FLAG! NASCAR COASTER!

I sort of want to get the Jr. Gemini credit when I go to CP over labor day weekend. Are they sticklers about that or will they let me get on?

Yes they are sticklers. You will have to "borrow" a small child to ride it.

Consider this: the park dumps Snake River Falls but keeps the station, queue, and the drop's run-out/splash pond. Then they build an Intamin flume with 10-person boats (like Pilgrims Plunge) with a long flume/rapids section leading to an elevator lift, taking the height record from Holiday World.

Because this is a flume/shoot-the-chutes hybrid not only does this ride replace Snake River Falls but it also replaces White Water Landing.

Gee...see I(ntamin)?

It's kind of surprising that if this new ride is going to be a new coaster, ground clearing hasn't started. KD and Carowinds have already started on ground clearing, footer and cement pouring, and delivering parts.

4x NASCAR Champion Jeff Gordon will be appearing at Cedar Point this Thusday just to let you know...

Just 2 quick questions:

1) Does CP have some kind of flash pass system? Cause I can't find anything about it on their website.

2) Is it possible to do all the coasters on one day (from start to end) on a weekday in July? Or should I rather go 2 days, just to make sure?

^CP does not have a virtual queuing system, which means you'll probably want to plan for 2 days for your first trip. You could, in theory, do it all in a day, but considering that you're coming from overseas you should just play it safe.

Also, whenever you come over bring a case of Westvleteren 12 and I'll meet you at CP and pay you top dollar (or euro) for it.

Even in Belgium, West-Vleteren is VERY rare, and the brewery is on the other side of the country .

Thanks for the advise though!
