Kid turns 48'' they can either ride Jaguar at Knotts or Maverick at Cedar Point...anything wrong with that!?!?!?

 

Eh, if anything this just proves that Cedar Fair can buy Knotts, but it will never be the Cedar Point of the West Coast!

Wow! I am excited about this. IMHO anything that is pretty unique with more theming is a very good thing. It will be interesting to see if there are reliability issues with a mid-course boost.

Why would there be issues? The only Intamin launch issues come from the hydraulic launches. As far as I can tell this uses LSM's all around.

Once i seen the design i immediatly tought Maverick being the offspring of Speed Monster and Speed. Looks like dad rides like mom. I dont know which is which.

Looks pretty cool. I think PBB should also get into themeing there rides. Cp and PBB are pretty similar, i think.

 

The layout is quite interesting, and i thnk this may be a new favourite for many that visit Cedar Point. I mean, it has thrilling bits, it doesn't look that tall, steep drop, themeing. Maybe disney should get a ride like this. They are meant to be the family park, right?

Hopefully the theming will be a little more detailed than what's in those impressions...what's the deal with those big metal slabs sticking up out of the ground???

I think it funny how the most of anything is the themeing, but still looks like a fun ride..

Intamin made my two favorite coasters in the US. I suspect they have a good knowledge of what makes for a thrilling ride. I'm on it next year!

In my opinion-I'm really surprised; not at all what I expected. However, it should do well for Cedar Point and be a good addition to their collection.
