My most intense coaster moment was when I went on Millennium Force for the very first time. I remember the first drop... then the overbanked turn... then I regained consciousness just before the final tunnel. It might have had something to do with our Canadian tailgate party in the parking lot hours prior

Millennium Force pulls a ton of G's at the bottom of the first drop. Not many people talk about it but it causes me to grey out every single time I ride it in the section between the first drop and start of the overbank. I still wouldn't put that anywhere near the most intense coaster moment though.

I immediately think of I305's ground hugging turn after the drop, Skyrush's turn out of the drop or basically everything Maverick does. I don't know if it's overly intense in terms of G forces but Maverick's second to last hill and turn is just... I don't even know. It's like it's just trying to dump everyone out of the train, I love that ride.

Kingda Ka is up there too in the front seat. My ears always pop on the way up the tower and for a few seconds it's actually hard to breathe just because of the amazing rush of wind. I'm not sure where it ranks in terms of G forces but it's an amazing experience in that seat... the same can be said for Dragster.

I had a 6-flip ride on Insane a few years ago, that's probably the most intense coaster moment of my life.

Otherwise I would say Vertigo aka "Plane on a stick". I had a couple of grey out on that ride...

MF probably just stay at something like 4G's for a long time. The same goes to Titan's helix.

Kingda Ka launch

I'll add back car of El Toro on the first drop and all of Skyrush.

Posted

El Toro's first drop and crossover hill in the last car

Kingda Ka and Dragtser's launch

Millennium Force's first drop

Intimidator 305's first drop and turnaround

Nitro's helix

Raptor's helix

Batman clones inversions and tight turns

And...

Maverick's track circuit

Posted

I'll add furius baco's heartline roll. The speed, the proximity to the ground and even the roughness make it pretty intense.

The over bank turn and the whole entire spagetti bowl on Bizarro at SFNE is AMAZING.

Goliath SFNE basically all of it

Nitro's Helix

El Toro's over bank turns and drop

Kingda Ka's launch

Batman the ride clone's corkscrews

Posted

Most appear to be on inverted coasters:

Silver Bullet - Final Helix

Batman The Ride (SFMM) - Helix after second loop

Nemesis - First wingover

Other good intense moments:

Goliath (SFMM) - Greyout helix

Desperado - Intense airtime at the top and intense Gs at the bottom of each camel-back

Tatsu - Pretzel loop

Ninja (SFMM) - The tight turn over the pond by Jet Stream

By far the most intense (but also the worst!)

Green Lantern: First Flight: Hitting the brake-run while upside down (all the blood hit my head pretty bad)

Posted

Indiana Jones' loop at Disneyland Paris is extremely fast and forceful. Definitely the best part of the ride.

Posted

Kingda Ka's launch, especially in the front seat

Xcelerator's launch

Any B&M flyer pretzel loop

SkyRush (most of that ride)

Cyclone's first drop (Coney Island)

Posted

The Top Thrill Dragster launch. Having only seeing front seat POVs on Youtube, I didn't know about the stadium seats. So stupid me craned about the train finding the countdown lights. After eventually putting my head back, the launch was excellent.

Oh this thread! I can add more now:

Phantoms Revenge 2nd drop and the turn that follows

Dragster launch

Millenniums pull out of the drop

Mavericks turns after the drop and launch out of the tunnel

Raptors final helix

-Kingda Ka's launch. I've been on it tons of times but it never, ever gets old.

-That airtime hill on El Toro right before the twister section. The most airtime I've ever experienced is on that hill. It just has SO MUCH ejector it feels like if you weren't in a lapbar you'd fly all the way to the Golden Kingdom

-Intimidator 305's first drop and turn. Don't need to say much about this one. Most intense sustained g's I've ever been through, and like most I blacked out completely

-Fahrenheit's drop. It's not that high, but it was my first (and only) beyond vertical drop and it was really great

Just a few intense moments that I find particularly memorable:

-Top Thrill Dragster's launch.

-The pretzel loops on Manta and S:UF.

-Millennium Force's first drop.

-Goliath's (SFGAm) first drop.

-Maverick's first ejector airhill.

-Banshee's final helix.

I'm not sure I can remember the most intense, but a few moments comes to mind:

- The launch on Stealth.

- 9 flipping ride on Insane.

- First ride on a megalite.

- Hang Over the first time (Vekoma Invertigo), I was only 10 at the time and it was my first big coaster.

Honorable, non-coaster, mention is plane on a stick at Tivoli!

-Intimidator 305: From start to finish.

-Kumba: The Zero-G and Cobra Roll are pretty forceful.

-Montu: The Batwing element.

-Skyrush: First drop in the last row has to be one of the craziest moments on any roller coaster. Great airtime hills as well.

-Manta (SWO): Pretzel Loop

-Dragon Challenge (Chinese Fireball): Wraparound Immelmann

Posted

Skyrush: First drop and s-curve hills in back winged seat.

TTD and Kingda Ka: Launches

El Toro: RT crossover hill

Wicked Cyclone: First outward banked hill

Bizarro SFNE: 3rd camelback hill

Batman clones: The tight transition between the 2 corkscrews

Cornball Express: First drop in the back row

Voyage: Multiple spots on the return trip section

Nitro: Upwards helix

Also: Any pretzel loop or Schwarzkopf coasters with back-to-back loops.

Posted

Cyclops: The final drop in the back seat.

El Toro: The Rolling Thunder Hill

Ispeed: The inline twists.
