P. 2239: Superman: Escape from Krypton permanently closed

They could be for Six Flags Magic Mountain. After all, it probably would take them this long to build anything of considerable size for 2014 and get it open by summer.

It's true! The sad thing is that, even if they started now they'd still more than likely barely make (in other words, completely miss) the projected opening date!

Is that a feasible route from Utah? Or Ohio? Those are the only places I know of that have roller coaster fabrication business in the U.S.

^^ Superman: The Escape turned into Superman: Escape from Krypton as part of the 2011 additions. It was a gimmick (SFMM: Go Figure) to promote "Three" brand new coasters when in reality only one was new (Green Lantern: First Flight) and one relocated (RoadRunner Express).

I'm not sure if I like the revamped version. In three weeks I'll know.

It's actually quite a bit better. Now if only they could "revamp" the air conditioning in the queue.

I really enjoy it going backwards. Especially the first time I went on it backwards because my mom didn't know that it went backwards. She was kind of scared.

^ Beat me to it. I bet they are for Adventure City's new coaster. Weird that they are waiting until the end of the summer to start getting pieces for it. Then again, it is Adventure City.

Adventure City said they will announce their new coaster in fall and it will open in 2014. I'm not sure if that lines up for this. I'm also not sure if those are actual coaster supports. If they were at a park, I'm sure they'll be easily spotted wherever they go.

Adventure City hasn't even dismantled Tree Top Racers yet, so I'm guessing if those are coaster supports that they are not for Adventure City.

I know its not in the correct direction(as of the picture), but could they not be headed TOWARDS Utah? Lagoon is building its new coaster as we speak! (For that matter, so is the Adventuredome in Las Vegas)I dont know the LA area well enough to know the locations the first poster mentioned.

They deff are not headed toward Utah. Utah he would have been going E on the 91 and taken the 15 N. He was headed W on the 91 which is toward Six Flags, Knotts and Adventure City.

I don't think it is for a coaster. There is no construction for anything at any park in Southern California. When have coaster parts ever showed up to a site before any construction has begun? I don't think they ever have. I could very well be wrong, I just don't think they are for a coaster, at least not in southern California.

Maybe something for one of the local waterparks?

Will be interesting to see if they end up anywhere in the next couple of days.

Im guessing it will be in the overflow lot sometime this week (if it goes to SFMM?)

The Johnny Rockets at MM, is that a real Johnny Rockets, or did they just use the name? I know the one at SF:DK isn't a real Johnny Rockets. I'm tempted to get that at the parks, but I don't want to pay $30 for two people to eat.

Its just as bad as SFDK. The only good food at SFMM is Mooseburger Lodge. Otherwise just leave the park and go down the street to Chipotle or Chick Fil-A.

That's what I thought.

I always go to Chipotle. It's good food and it's really close to SFMM.

Chipotle is my favorite. I can eat there any time, any day.

If one is looking for a legit Johnny Rockets, there's one 5 minutes down the the road along with Chipotle and other places that will beat anything in the park... Johnny Rockets is my preferred place to eat out of the park.

Thanks for the recommendation. I might do that.

Guess how many trains YOLOcoaster was running today!

Only an hour wait though, so not too bad.

That's gotta be impressive. Hopefully they'll have two trains running during Labor Day weekend.

^The line actually didn't move that much slower than it does with two trains operating! What would've been a 45-50 minute wait only took an hour with one train. I guess it's since the ride itself is so short!

Another question. Are you able to bring a chain wallet into the parks (not a huge chain, but a small one)?

For me it was a no. I had a small chain last year for mine because I always lose the stupid thing, and they wouldn't let me in with it.
