SFOG already has two Joker themed rides, not sure they would build a third.

Good call! I hadn't even thought of that. Probably because I don't honestly think this track is going there, and didn't give it much actual thought!

Id have to agree, i don't think that it's for anything other than a wingrider after looking at it. Lets hope for a launched one if it is one!

^ I'm gonna get all technical here lol. It doesn't have the right magnetic brakes to match up with what Thunderbird has.

Continuing the discussion about the mysterious green track spotted at the Gerstlauer factory, more track have since appeared, and I'm certain it's a Takabisha clone.

First because it uses the old Eurofighter track instead of the new Infinity track. I guess that means it's a clone of an older design and the park didn't want to spend extra money for re-calculus with the new profil. Copy-and-paste.

Then it has the quad-tubes track only the Banana Roll of Takabisha has, among all other Gerstlauer coasters.

And there, you can see on the left an Eurofighter tower, and on the right, the support for the 45° downward stairs right before the drop. I looked at a reference pic of Takabisha, and it matches.

There are 2 track colours there. The lighter track matches up with the concept art for Pegasus the Firechaser Express style ride for Parc Asterix.

The darker one... who knows.

Exactly. There was also yet another Sky Fly in production for that matter, and on Google Earth you can see a third, red coaster at the back of the factory. Probably for Motion Gate.

Gerstlauer does sometimes use the three-tube track for spinning coasters. Galaxy Orbiter and Masquerade come to mind.

TripleFive looks to have finally squeezed their last incentive out of New Jersey and looks to finally issue bonds to complete the place. They got in there and did a huge amount of work and stopped to extort more favorable terms. Plus they wanted in on any possible ok'ing of casinos in North Jersey. That push is meant to land a Hard Rock branded casino at the racetrack. But Triple Five said, " hey how about us." Did that vote ever get approved for the ballot.?
