Food and Fatties of Middle America!

Great trip report. Reading this was a great way to kick off my morning.

I like how this trip report made fun of all the fat people.

I spot a K-Stater in the pictures!(I love Kstate!)

This was the largest fan I have ever seen. It was bigger than most airplane propellers.

Now it's time for a side trip from our regularly scheduled update. It's time for LESLIE HALL! Ok, so there is some food because it was snack trading night, and while there are not any 'fatties' in this portion of the report, there are a lot of BODY ROLLS!!!! Elissa arranged the most incredible and awesome special guest, Leslie Hall, to hang out with us for a bit. It was a ton of fun and definitely made this one of the most epic moments I've ever had with TPR. There is no better way to start this off, then with a link to the single greatest music video EVER!!!! Well, enough of my rambling, on to the report!

This was one of the most epic evenings EVER. Between Leslie, the snack exchange, the lounge, and the locals hanging out with us, much insane fun was had. The only thing this report was missing were photos of the deadly swarms of insects that would attack us whenever we would step outside.

I totally forgot about those bugs! That was absolute hell! I really can't remember a time in my life when I have had that much fun. TPR is absolutely the greatest group to hang out with.

I love Leslie Hall. I've been a fan for a few years now. She can actually rap really well. And I don't like rap. She's got a good singing voice too. She is a diva in my book. Glad others TPR folks like her, makes me feel normal....oh wait we're talking TPR folks and myself....all of us are far from normal...

Thanks for posting those photos Joey!! That night was a total blast, one of the best nights on the Mid-America trip by far!! I don't even remember how much I drank that night, but I consumed a lot! And seeing Leslie Hall was def worth it!

That was such a fun night. Leslie was so fun and crazy to hang out with, I still tell people about meeting her and taking all kinds of crazy pictures. Didn't we buy out all her merchandise from the back of her car?

When I met up with TPR in the basement lounge of the Bates Motel, with no pre-knowledge of Leslie Hall I had absolutely no clue what the hell was going on. Quite surreal and scary.

Time for another update! Today was the fulfillment of a lifelong dream for any coaster enthusiast, a pilgrimage to the Almighty, Wonderful, Amazing, Perfect, Unbeatable, Extreme, Holy, PROWLER!!!!! Our pilgrimage first took us through Adventureland, and we had an awesome time there. It was very hot, but suffering is what part of a pilgrimage is all about!

Goodbye Boondocks Bate's Motel! The location of the one of the greatest events in TPR history!

It really was called Boondocks!

This majestic flower pattern is 'A' for Adventureland!

For some reason, Dan and John always went to the bathroom together.... with smiles on their faces.

Johnny Knoxville greeted us as we entered.

This is the tree that almost got me into Dave's greatest pictures of 2010! I was looking at my phone or camera and was heading straight for the tree. My wife, thankfully (for me, not for Dave), warned me right before I was about to hit it. Dave was so bummed and had his camera all ready and everything! I have to admit, it would have been an awesome picture.

The show selection was incredible! By far the best show selections I have ever seen !

Outlaw was a fun ride.

The water park was small, but pretty modern and nice.

Saw Mill Splash was very short, but on this hot of a day it was worth the wait. Although, we never did figure out if the urine smell was the water, or Bryan.

I think their faces sum up the ride.

Martin is happy because he got wet, and that he can now add another patch to his jacket!

Pork Tenderloin? Hmm, I wonder what it is.

Too bad, I was thinking it would've been more of a BBQ style sandwich, not a chicken fried pork thing on a bun. Wasn't bad though, just thought it would have been different.

Dan doesn't smile when he's on a ride, but he does if there are little boys around!? Hmmm....

This is probably the most 'greens' I had the whole trip.

Instead of throwing up on the rides after lunch, we decided to play some games!

KidTums wins a Tiger!

It was really hot, so we decided to hit the water park. You get some awesome air on the red white and blue slide.

So I have to be exactly 48"? And what about the green tubes?

I guess Iowa has a big foreign population.

You can't really tell in this picture, but this was the largest single tube I have ever seen. It was almost double the size everyone else's tube. This lady wasn't 'fat,' but definitely not as small as she looks in the picture.

We had a nice time at the water park! Time to head back into the park.

The ferris wheel was nice and relaxing, and gave us some nice views of the park.

Ok, so some views were also sad. This was the location of the big fire they recently had.

After such a blessed occasion (ok, so Prowler was good, but not nearly as incredible as people made it out to be), we were all too awake to go to bed and decided to have a TPR takeover at Waffle House!
