If there is one theme park that REALLY needs a roller coaster and needs it soon, its gotta be Six Flags St. louis. Let's think about this, they have six roller coasters (not counting the kiddie coaster), and only two of them are really worth riding (speaking of the facts that: Mr. Freeze and B:TR are clones, Ninja sucks, and the River King Mine Train is the most pointless coaster in the world). So now let's examine the two worth riding, the Screamin' Eagle is ancient (but still a good ride) and the Boss is pretty rough (with those damn Gerstlauer trains). Also, the last coaster they built was the Boss, and that was built in 2000 for Christ's sake! So my argument is that SFStL MOST DEFINATELY needs a new coaster, and if they dont get one soon, I think I'll cry.

Frontier City

Their last roller coaster was The Diamondback, an arrow shuttle loop. They bought it from SF great adventure (the bottom track of lightning loops). They installed it in 1993. I think that they could have added a decent coaster in a 13 year period. I think that in place of the night mare mine (which closed the day i went there and is still closed) should be a launched roller coaster. About the size of Kanonen at Liseberg. Maybe instead of such a small and compact layout, it could go around the park. The place isn't that big. Their last addition is probably their best ride. The ErUPtion. It's an S&S Sky Sling that they added (I think) in 2003.

Parc Astérix. The last coaster was Trace du hourra (2001) and the last real attraction is the dark ride (2003). We want an inverted pleeeeaaase! Don't care... not coasters before 2008.

Geauga Lake...they're not getting a new coaster for '07 but if they don't get one (or at least a new major ride of some sort) in '08 I'm convinced Cedar Fair has already given up on the park. The place is always dead on the rides side, they have 2 good woodies (Wolf Bobs and Big Dipper), a B&M floorless, and an Intamin impulse, and yet all the attention goes to the new waterpark. I think the waterpark was a good addition but the place really REALLY needs to revamp the rides side...they've lost Mr. Hyde, possibly the monorail, the paddlewheel boats, and a ton of their midsized flats in the last few years...if they could build a hyper or something back in the area behind Wolf Bobs and the raft ride, and hype it up really well, it'd bring more people to the park, and because of its location, it'd balance out the number of people on the waterpark and ride sides.

SFKK needs something new. The last real adddition was Greezed Lightnin' in '03. Since then, they have just added a Proslide Tornado and painted Chang. They should keep T2 for 1 more year (since I still need the credit ), and then tear it down to build and Intamini Rocket like Kanonen! Shapiro would probably rather put in a petting zoo.

^^Sheez, I guess the mad coaster blitz of 2000 wasn't enough for you!

How about SFDL... it hasn't gotten a new coaster since S:ROS in 1999.

Or Marineland, to take up some of the huge vast expanses of nothingness. Although it would take Marineland about 20 years to actually get a concept and build a wood coaster.

I was gonna say FC as well. Really, this'll be the 14th season without a new coaster, sad. Hopefully the new management will shape up, I'm expecting something next year.

Canobie Lake Park! they havn't added a coaster in 16 years (including next year). But we will hopefully get a GCI next year!

Also Funtown maine and Palace Playland need new coasters even though there is no room in Palace playland. Funtown, they could add a looper in 2008, but we know what they are getting next year! As for Playland, they could replace the galaxi with another portable coaster.

Also, any park in Ireland needs a new coaster!

Cypress Gardens REALLY needs a new coaster by 2007. Sure Starliner is going to be added, but they seriously need a true steel adult coaster. Maybe they can start off with a boomerang. I know that would be the first one in Florida so I would like to see how the public deals with it. IMO, a boomerang would fit nicely their becasue of lack of space.

Six Flags Great Adventure, they seem to never get any new coasters...

Oh, it was quite enough at the time. X-Flight the year after that was like icing on the cake. But the only major addition since then has been the waterpark, and in that same span, they've lost a bunch of flats. And of the 4 coasters that were added in 2000, Villain is awful because of the trains, Dominator's developed a pretty bad vibration that's really un-B&M-like, and Steel Venom always breaks down and was closed most of the last season. So I just think it's time for something new.

I would agree on SFDL though, S:ROS gets all these rave reviews, but that's about the only top-notch coaster at the park.
