I live in Jeddah, in Saudi Arabia (I'm not kidding. ) And there's at least 20. 20!!! different parks if you include all the entertainment centres inside the malls too. My closest coaster is the Surfrider at Atallah Happy Land Park. It's the tallest Intamin Half Pipe out there. Inching close to my top 10 rides I've ridden.

BEAT THIS ELITCH GARDENS!! MUAH HA HAA!

Geographically, the closest coaster is probably a toss up between Shambhala at PortAventura, Montanya Russa at Tibidabo or the SLC at Terra Mitica (can't think of the name at the moment) unless there's some lesser known coaster somewhere on the Balearics.

In terms of how long it takes to get there, probably Montanya Russa. 30 min flight to Barcelona, then probably an hour on public transport to Tibidabo.

I'm a little under an hour away from SFA, but I've only visited the park once in the past ten years and usually just visit Kings Dominion which is about an hour 45 minutes away.

Tivoli Gardens - 50 minutes to 1 hour, depends on the traffic

Bakken - 1 1/4 hour drive

Bonbon-Land - 1 1/2 hour drive

Liseberg - 3 hour drive

Hansa Park - 4 hour drive including ferry

I'm about 20 minutes from Kennywood. It's great to have access pretty much whenever I want. Great for killing a few hours after work.

One of the coasters at Six Flags Magic Mountain. If I wanted to be more specific and pick which coaster at SFMM I'm closest to, it'd probably be Batman the Ride.

When I was your age, I definitely wanted to live near Disneyland.

And that was 1967! Just as Pirates opened, and the (then)

New Tomorrowland made it's spectacular debut.

So I am very glad that somebody is actually doing it, LOL!

2 hours to Carowinds, but we have season passes to Dollywood which is a 4 hour drive. So, I'm not close to a park, but atleast I have two within a manageable distance.

^^^ Great layout for that Mouse! I wish we had something like that here at Playland.

At the moment, I'm about five minutes away from FunCoaster at Funplex in Mt Laurel, NJ. I grew up having SFGAdv in my backyard, though. You could hear the roar of the coasters from our yard. After a thirty second drive down the road, you'd be able to see the coasters all creep over the tree line. I could be at home and decide to go to the park at 11:50 and walk through the main gate before 12:00.

Miss those days...

Ghostrider or Silver Bullet. Knott's is 4.3 miles from my house. I need to go see how much steel has been installed on ghostrider.

My closest coaster is Tennessee Tornado at Dollywood at only 86 miles, which is weird because Afterburn at Carowinds is 110 miles yet is takes me an hour less to get to Carowinds.

Mine is the Wildcat at the North Georgia State Fairgrounds. 20 miles away. It's a permanent installation so I count it. I love having another awesome Schwarzkopf in the Atlanta area.
