Best Theme Park Food

Trapper's Smokehouse at BGW is amazing. The pizza and frozen whoopie pies at Knoebels were spectacular, as was the milkshake I got there. The corn dogs and fresh squeezed lemonade at Kennywood are also a favorite of mine.

^^I'm no park food expert but I enjoyed my Pronto Pups meal at Indiana Beach. I just learned the company was founded in my hometown. I'm not surprised the park has other good options; there were enticing food smells throughout and I've heard great things about the tacos.

Speaking of Kennywood, I can't believe I left out The Potato Patch. They really do have some of the best park fries that I've ever eaten.

I wanted to eat there a few weeks ago when I was there, but I passed on it because of the line. I'll try it out next time then.

 

Other than Freeman's, I think Hershey has a good Chicken Parmesan Sandwich at Gourmet Grille. The Kettle Corn is good from what I remember too.

 

I've never had a bad meal at Knoebels yet. You get a lot with breakfast and it wasonly $18 for 3 people. The pancakes, bacon and hashbrowns were great. Another great place is The Alamo and the Old Mill Ice Cream place. Most people love Cesari's, but the pizza tastes nothing special IMO.

 

Kennywood's Parkside Cafe offers a lot of food for a decent price. Their chicken fingers meal was good and they gave you a ton of fries and a dinner roll.

 

Speaking chicken fingers, the ones at SFGadv at Granny's are great.

The fried chicken dinner at knotts is just awesome. So is the fried chicken dinner at the plaza inn at disneyland. If it counts as theme park food, the palm steakhouse at uso is also great when I want something a little upscale while I am there.

Best food at a six flags park: Mooseburger Lodge at SFMM. For about 5 dollars more for 3 of us we get to sit in air conditioning, Drink unlimited lemonade in huge freakin glasses and get really good food and surprisingly good service.

Im going to have to say the Rose and Crown Pub in Epcot... The best Sheperd's pie that Ive had... And eating dinner with the fireworks going off is an added bonus...

 

On other note, Dollywood would have to be my second choice, got to love the sweets.

The best food I ate was at the German Pavilion of EPCOT at WDW. I can't remember the name, but the food was delicious and the live entertainment made it even better.

Best "park" food I've had has all been at Busch parks. (Sea Worlds included)

Some of the best food has to be Europa-Park. There are something like 60-70 food outlets in the resort, and the selection within the park is absurd. Each area has themed foot outlets. Raclette in Switzerland, Gyros Kebabs in Greece, Apple Strudel in Austria, Bagels in Iceland, Tarte Flambée in France, Pizza and Pasta in Italy, speciality fish in Scandinavia, Paella in Spain... you name it.

 

It's delicious, and better than any of the other parks in Europe and Florida that I have been to - although sime of the WDW buffets in the parks are superb (Animal Kingdom MMM!).

Pretty much anything in WDW, I love the pretzels in the Tomorrowland Lunching Pad and you can never go wrong with a Dole Whip either. I also loved Mythos at IOA. I Had a great meal when I went last summer and I like a lot of the food BGT has at its counter service places. Makes the all day dining deal they offer that much more worth it!

I don't remember the name of the place. It was at Seaworld Orlando. It was a BBQ place towards the back of the park. We where expecting crappy food, and it was amazing. Real southern BBQ, we where amazed.

The same can be said for Busch Gardens Williamsburg- and the Three Rivers Smokehouse. The Beef Brisket there is NOT to be missed, nor is the half-chicken- still one of the best values in all of a theme park.

I've had some really good meals at WDW. Loved the lunch I had at the France pavilion at EPCOT maybe 5 years ago. And I loved the wet burritos from the Cantina at the Mexico pavilion (before the place was renovated). Had the biggest ham sandwich of my life at 50's Prime Time at the Studios park. Sadly, they changed the turkey sandwich with chipotle mayo at Sunshine Seasons at The Land and it's not as good as it used to be. Luckily Panera makes a sandwich that's similar to how it used to be, so I just have that whenever I get a craving for one.

 

The food at Busch Gardens Tampa is pretty good. I really like the spaghetti & meatballs at Desert Grill. And I normally don't care for alfredo sauce, but I enjoy the chicken alfredo there too. Sometime I want to try the fried chicken. The BBQ at Zambia Smokehouse is pretty good for a theme park, plus it's one of the very few theme park restaurants that I've seen serve bread pudding (and it's pretty good too). I plan on trying the Crown Colony sit-down restaurant at some point this year.

 

Last summer I had lunch at Confisco Grille at Islands of Adventure. I wanted something inexpensive and light, so I tried the soup & sandwich combo. OMG their potato leek soup was amazing! I could have eaten more than just a cup of it. The turkey sandwich was pretty tasty too. Sometime I want to try Mythos as I've heard nothing but rave reviews. And I'll probably be in the minority here, but I really like the burgers at Mel's Drive-In at Universal Orlando.

In northern germany Hansapark has the best food in the self-service restaurant near the entrance - and for a very reasonable price. At Heidepark you should bring your own picnic....

 

At Disneyland I had some decent Jambalaya in the New Orleans Square which was a little spicy. At Knotts they've a Johnny Rockets - complete with serivce - which I quite like in the US.

My wife and I were blown away by the food at Busch Gardens Williamsburg when we visited last year. It was all superb, but specifically Trapper's Smokehouse pretty much destroys any other park food I've eaten.

 

Some other favorites of mine are Potato Patch fries (Best park fries I've had, period) and the pizza at Knoebels (which was fantastic!). Someone earlier mentioned the chicken fingers at SF Great Adventure, and I'd have to agree with that as well. We got them at the "character cafe" (or whatever it's called) last week and they were very tasty....plus, they came with curly fries, which is all sorts of win!

Granny Smith Apple Fries are one of the best theme park snack foods around. Knights Table BBQ has really good BBQ for a fair price. The Upper Deck Cafe has a great menu for a sit down place too.

Did this really get this far and no one mentioned Tivoli Gardens? 'Cause, yeah. They're empircally on a different level than everyone else.
