ytterbiumanalyst
It's the end of the season for a lot of us, and many of you early planners like me are looking forward to next year! Here's where I'm planning to go: Absolutely: Silver Dollar City Probably: Holiday World Kentucky Kingdom Beech Bend Dollywood Lake Winnie Alabama Adventure Possibly: Knoebels Hersheypark Dorney Park Six Flags Great Adventure Morey's Piers

What would you guys recommend? Edited September 20, 2016 by nannerdw
coasterbill
We're still fine tuning our plans, usually they're incredibly spontaneous. The following parks are a guarantee though. Six Flags Great Adventure (probably on the first day of 2017) Six Flags New England Dorney Sea World Busch Gardens Tampa Fun Spot Knoebels Kings Dominion Cedar Point Carowinds Kings Island Busch Gardens Williamsburg Morey's Piers Some sh*thole parks on the way home from Morey's like Steel Pier, Keansburg or Casino Pier Funland Rehoboth Beach (lol, shut up this counts). KristenLeigh
I'm looking into getting my husband and I season passes to Kings Island but it would be the platinum passes so we could go to Kings Island and Cedar Point. What other Cedar Fair parks are there and where are they located? I also want to visit Holiday World and KennyWood and maybe Kentucky Kingdom (haven't been since 6 Flags days). coasterbill
If you haven't done one of those east coast trips before (it seems like you're planning one epic road trip) I can't stress enough that you need to add a day in Montreal to check out the city in addition to the day at La Ronde. La Ronde blows but Montreal is amazing.
ytterbiumanalyst
Definitely:Dollywood Kentucky Kingdom Carowinds Maybe: SFOG BGW Beech Bend Either: [Holiday World (last visit 2015) to SFStL (last visit 2007) to Silver Dollar City] or [Magic Springs to SFOT to Fiesta Texas] New parks in green. What would you guys recommend? HW, SFStL, and SDC, without a doubt. Magic Springs sucks except for the waterpark, but Splashin' Safari is better. If you don't like waterparks there is absolutely no reason to go to Magic Springs. Fiesta Texas is pretty good, the best Six Flags park I've been to, but it’s not SDC or HW. bert425
the only one on my list is Cedar Point (for my first time). but that's because my Husband and I are doing a Cruise in Feb.. . so I'm assuming that will cover our "family" trip this year. so likely our next big theme park trip together is not until 2018. 805Andrew
After staying domestic this year I'm planning on doing an international trip next year. Somewhere where there's great beer, rides, and parks, and nice scenery. I'm also considering doing that Holiday World coaster event next June (if they're still doing it) since I've never been and it would an easy extended weekend trip to pull off. I have Six Flags and Universal passes, so I'll hit both Six Flags in CA and USH of course, and may hit other local parks if I have friends that want to go. If any bash events are announced I'll definetely go to those, at least the ones I can drive to easily.

christianscoasters
Well I'll obviously visit CP a couple of times, as I can literally see Valravn from my living room and hear Raptor from my porch. I've already booked a flight to Germany next year for a two-week Europe trip! We plan on visiting Europa Park, Holiday Park (if we can figure out how to get there), Phantasialand, Efteling, Hansa Park, Tivoli Gardens, Liseberg, Grona Lund, and PortAventura! Hopefully I can make it to Carowinds too.
