Teddymonster
No thanks! That thing looks shoddy as hell. Like you already mentioned, it would never be picked up by a park, especially being that you have to wear earplugs to ride it. That's cool that you rode it, at least. CoasterFanatic
I have seen a lot of rides and this one just straight up scares me

jackskellington101
And I will not be doing that ride. I imagine this thing going on the side of the Stratosphere Tower in Vegas when they figure out the sound issues.
Mind Eraser
Wow. Looks nice and rusty.
ECZenith
I wonder which park would actually get something that looks this... industrial? Don't get me wrong... sign me up for a ride, it just doesn't look like something the public would be willing to ride in vast numbers.
Thrillrider15
That is Freakin' insane! It's hard to imagine myself riding that thing
KrakenKing
Hmm, drop towers are the only rides that can actually give me a thrill... I almost crapped myself on Acrophobia... and that was only 200ft... Riding this would probably give me a heart attack... but I'd probably take a chance and ride it, haha
ncf
I think drop rides are really boring, but Fritt Fall: Tilt at Gröna Lund was pretty cool (80meter stand-up-floorless) This looks VERY cool
Homey G.
Truly wild. I'm in the boat with those that feel drop rides are truly the last threshhold of fear for me. Maybe they could install one at CP and charge for the earplugs like DT charges for glasses. javascript:emoticon('') Rolling Eyes
coastermoosh
Of course its rusty...and industrial...and loud. Sonic Boom was not built with the intention of selling it to parks, it was built to simply show it COULD BE DONE.
zburns999
Is the compressed air system just as reliable as magnetic systems? Honestly, I don't know if I would ride it. It just doesn't look safe. The worst part is that you have to press a button to make it drop. Could you imagine if this was at a park? Someone could have a panic attack at the top. How would they get down and not hold up the line? I understand that this wasn't built to sell, but its just an observation.
coastermoosh
OMG....is anyone actually READING what I've posted? You WILL NOT find a ride like this IN ANY PARK! It is not a showpiece...its NOT for sale. It was built to show that using air compressed by the ride vehicle COULD be done. End of story!
BiCoastal Kid
^I bet you could get one if you wanted, though.
coasterguy618
Looks fun, and it also looks like a Death Trap! You probably won't see me getting on that thing anytime soon!
lagg
Wow! Looks cool, and scary. Not knowing when you will drop because your in a small space. And that little tunnel you drop into .

project?
The good news is that S&S has come up with a new attraction called the Sonic Boom. The bad news is that apparently it is just a little something Stan developed for his own mini amusement park fun zone in Logan, Utah http://media.putfile.com/sonic-boom-at-ss This is a short video of the Sonic Boom in action. Ed
Without even watching the video. This is the ride that drops you into a small hole using Air Pressure to slow you down? It's been there a for a while. And totally stuid tbo.
Swimace
^yeah, that's the one. It looks fun, but the boom thing seems like it could get obnoxious.
socalMAN123
Dude, that looks really weird. It looks like fun, but I mean, the enterance is kinda weird. It's just a door in a tube. ---Brent
