robbalvey Posted December 11, 2013 Author Posted December 11, 2013 That looks like a lot of fun. How does it compare to the other B&M inverts? It's right up there with the other "big" old-school B&M inverts - Montu, Raptor, Katun, etc...
ArizonaGuy Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Wow! Looks like it doesn't let up at all even past the midcourse brake!
bert425 Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Let's give some crap to our winner: bert425! To claim your winning Bag-O-Crap, send an email to robbalvey@themeparkreview.com with "video crap" in the subject. Don't forget to include your mailing address! We will choose another winner with this next round! Here's another new video! My first ever ride on Pyrenees at Parque Espana! super awesome! Thanks Robb. as to Pyrenees -- is that a Batman clone? because the layout and freaking fantastic speed, remind me VERY much of "Goliath" at Six Flags Fiesta Texas -- and that's the old SFNO Batman. regardless, what a great ride. That first drop is amaze-bawlz!
XYZ Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 The layout always makes me think of it as a "Super Batman clone" due to its sequence of the first three inversions. It looks like a great coaster.
JeromyL Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 I believe this is a custom model. Not a clone
Jon Sabo Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 Have yet to add this ride to my coaster count, but hopefully someday soon!
gerstlaueringvar Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 Looks Like a really intense invert. The turn towards the cobra roll is FAST! Does the little hill before the break generate airtime?
Woodie Warrior Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 I've yet to be on a B&M coaster I didn't like, and this one looks to be better than the ones I have ridden.
jray21 Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 Pyrenees is such a fun coaster, and it sure does help it's in a great park!
rcdude Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 $700 credit? Wow! At least it looks like it's one of the top five (or at least top ten) coasters in all of Japan. Hopefully I'll get a chance to ride this one day.
rcjp Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 Every single B&M should be this intense! And this loud too!
coolkid Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 Pryness looks awesome. I would totally ride it, if only it wasn't in Japan. I live in Canada.
arby Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 That looks like a lot of fun. How does it compare to the other B&M inverts? It's right up there with the other "big" old-school B&M inverts - Montu, Raptor, Katun, etc... Awesome! I am figuring out how I can finagle that $700 credit myself...
kidcoaster 2 Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 Just another reason to go back to Japan!
slith Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 first part of this coaster look almost a clone of kraken
Mr Stratosphere Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 For once, this is a B&M Coaster I really want them to clone and build in the US! We sure do need more quality coasters here in Vegas!
caffeine_demon Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 Have 25 comments been reached yet? and do you award the bag o crap to the best comment, or a random one?
Nrthwnd Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 ^ Have you counted the # of posts after this video, yet? Not sure. Not sure. It's probably a random kind of thing. Or hand-picked. Patience.
eddie200330 Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 ^ Have you counted the # of posts after this video, yet? Not sure. Not sure. It's probably a random kind of thing. Or hand-picked. Patience. LOL...You used patience in a TPR forum. Not gonna happen......
netdvn Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 New video for my birthday yesterday? I'll take it. The coaster looks fantastic, but I've heard the park isn't the best with capacity. I was told the ops would clean the seats before loading the station/train every time. Can anyone actually confirm this? - Spanish themed park in Japan sounds awesome nevertheless.
ArizonaGuy Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 Oh what I'd do for some more Chapstick!!!
