scbt Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 Wow, the quality of the video is much better than the one you did of Kraken with the glasses camera.
coasterbill Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 Kawasemi looks great. I really wish Mega Lites were popular in the US.
Nrthwnd Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 Kawasemi looks great. I really wish Mega Lites were built in the US. Fixed. I don't think it's a case of "being popular" in the US. There just doesn't seem to be any park (for now) interested in building one. Also, there are only 4 of these in the world at this time, so it's not like they are all over Europe and Asia. Those of us who have ridden them, just can't stop gushing about them. That's all.
arby Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 Wow, the mega-lites look awesome! Great video featuring a few different aspects - I need some glasses like that...

I'm sure they would be popular with guests.
robbalvey Posted January 11, 2014 Author Posted January 11, 2014 Knotts needs one of these Every park needs one of these!
spongey Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 Awesome coaster and an even more amazing country. I miss Japan.
jray21 Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 Knotts needs one of these Every park needs one of these! Totally agree. Any park in the US would be perfect for that type of ride.
LiMiT Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 If I ever win the lottery for any reason, I'm buying a ranch and building one of these on it. TPR members will get free rides!
JeromyL Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 ^^^---Offer it up to your favorite park as free capital. That way your not paying for the mtc and upkeep. In return for TPR parties at the park. We all win!!!
gerstlaueringvar Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 I saw that i305 style OTSR's are available for Mega Lite somewhere probably Intamin's website a while ago... I can't picture how that would look like...
805Andrew Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 I don't think they should build one in the states. Make people come to Japan to ride one instead. This is actually a good argument not to build a Megalite, as it forces people to visit Japan if they really want to ride one. Classic.

acemem09 Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 ELF LOOKS AWESOME. GREAT COASTER TO START OUR YOUNGER RIDERS ON.
djmadmanray Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 Love it... kind of reminds me of Rye Playland's Dragon Coaster...
neovortex2k Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 Great coaster. Reminds me more of Goliath @ Walibi World Holland.
Vonni Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 That looks like so much fun! Wow! So much Hairtime!
Cyrbuzz Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 That's one fun looking coaster. I think one of Florida's parks could use one of these. Maybe something like this could replace Gwazi?
XYZ Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 (edited) Darn wrong thread. Edited January 25, 2014 by XYZ
Nrthwnd Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 ^ Are you in the right thread? Then again, who am I to ask? Just curious.
Barge84 Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 Aussie Steve and Priscilla! It's pretty sad that you recorded the "man" of the couple for the hair explosion. Get a haircut, you hippie! Seriously, looks like a great ride, and I can't wait to get my first mega lite in Scandi!!!
Cyrbuzz Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 I wish I still had hair to just let go flying in the wind. All I can do now is cast a glare on my ride down the lifthill.
Nrthwnd Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 ^ I'm starting to grow my hair long, again. To see if I can still do it at this age now - and will it look okay or just be... wierd?
