samisthabomb
Nara Dreamland is very intriguing to me. I love looking at pictures of the now-abandoned park. It's amazing how quickly nature is reclaiming it.
beatle11
Strange looking park. Not to surprised that it closed after seeing that video. Stupid knockoffs belong in China anyways.
kidcoaster 2
If Nara Dreamland was still open it would defiantly be on my bucket list! Such a strange park.
jray21
I'm so sad I missed that park. We had our trip all planned out and then they closed it.
Nrthwnd
I was hoping we'd get to tour it in the 2007 Japan Tour, but it closed up the previous year, and that was that.
XYZ
Quite interesting that they just built a glorified helix around the mountain instead of something a little bit more interesting, such as making some turns that go inside the mountain. neovortex2k
It definitely looks faster than Matterhorn and with bigger drops but I can't be sure. Only rode the Matterhorn once
gisco
Nara was a complete knock off of Disneyland with really awful rides except for the wooden coaster, Aska.
netdvn
That coaster is still themed better than half the American coasters out there. The layout seems pretty solid too.
yay101
^I agree. It's no Disney coaster, but it looked fun! I like it.
disney4me2001
This version of Matterhorn (if you want to call it that) actually does look smoother to me than the real one! But it definitely needed some help in the theming department...sadly though, if Six Flags did something like this, I'd probably actually complement them on it just because it would still be better themed than most of their rides! Actually, this ride somewhat reminds me of Runaway Mountain at SFOT for some reason.
scubaski
Sounds like it would be a rough ride but its still a coaster and I would ride it at least once

chieftom1
It's been many, many years since I've been to 'real' Disneyland and am booked into the Californian the later part of July, 2014. That will give me another opp to enjoy the 'real' Disney mountain again with the grandkids. It's a shame I've never been outside the US except for a military stint on Okinawa with its very few coasters on the island. I did enjoy the video and it would have been kinda kewl if Rob had done a side-by-side comparison of the two during the video.

Even tough the few rides built during the Warner ownership had some nice theming (like Batman at SFGAdv which looks great)

Even tough the few rides built during the Warner ownership had some nice theming (like Batman at SFGAdv which looks great) This is true too! I think that's why I tend to prefer the DC comics themed attractions in the Six Flags parks. In each park I've been to (I go to SFMM regularly, and I've been to SFOT and SFFT one time each), there's at least one DC ride on my "favorites" list! arby
That looks like a lot of fun. How does it compare to the other B&M inverts?
Nrthwnd
I thought this was a great coaster, especially with the speeding through the trenches near the end.
eddie200330
$700 credit...LOL. Looks really intense and I like the fact it has hills and valleys towards the end which is a rarity on suspended/inverted coasters.
