Canobie Coaster Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 Six Flags America's Mind Eraser gets it for me. The anticipation of the imminent pain is a killer.
Bryce Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 I was thinking that Dragon's Challenge seemed to have a pretty ghetto looking lift hill view. Come to think of it, the landscaping under the coaster wasn't very good either. Must be even worse now that you don't have the dueling element! Ice's (or Hungarian Horntail... blech) view is not that bad. Though with Fire, you can see that awful soundbarrier and more of "the outside world". There is a ton of construction going under both coasters though, and I hope to god that it includes adding more trees/foliage.
Angry_Gumball Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 I'm going to now throw in this: X2 in the evening as the sun sits over Viper, or any time in the mid to late afternoon. You are leaning and facing the sun. Nothing worse than having to shield your eyes...and if you got stuck on the lift...
deathbydinn Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 Batman at Great America has a pretty bad view. The parks backstage to the right of it and go karts underneath equals looking at a whole lot of concrete. At least the rest of the ride is landscaped.
disneyfan1313 Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 I'm going to say any coaster in a parking lot!
Aceattack52 Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 I'm going to say any coaster in a parking lot! Lol I just remembered Scream is built entirely over a parking lot.
gerstlaueringvar Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 I'm going to say any coaster in a parking lot! Lol I just remembered Scream is built entirely over a parking lot. I think he is referring to Scream
mike541x Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 Sheikra at BGT is bad about the sun blinding as well. The lift is just perfectly angled so that you get blinded by the Florida sun from opening 'till 4-5PM every day. Â Â Yes! I remember riding Sheikra last year and seeing the whole front row covering their eyes as we got to the top.
Moose Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 The view isn't bad from it, but I remember the sun being in my Reyes for the lift of Ge Force as well.
Wes Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 The view isn't bad from it, but I remember the sun being in my Reyes for the lift of Ge Force as well. Â I hate when the sun is in your Reyes.
yay101 Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 Probably Dragon Fire at Canada's Womderland if I were to guess. I have never ridden it, but a view of just Leviathan's lift hill, although Leviathan is probably great, does not seem fun to look at if you were in Dragon Fire.
medoman Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 the big one at blackpool give you a view of..... blackpool..... ewww
MisterP Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 The view isn't bad from it, but I remember the sun being in my Reyes for the lift of Ge Force as well. Â I hate when the sun is in your Reyes. Â
John Peck Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 Yeah, that Cemetery one is bad, but I think this one of Disaster Transport when the lift hill lights burnt out was worse.
rcjp Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 Well, many people who are afraid of riding coaster close their eyes so, for them, that was great!
Trogdor: The Burninator!! Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 Ghostrider... either with or without the shed!
Angle O. Descent Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 Probably Dragon Fire at Canada's Womderland if I were to guess. I have never ridden it, but a view of just Leviathan's lift hill, although Leviathan is probably great, does not seem fun to look at if you were in Dragon Fire. Â Are you kidding me?? It's arguably the BEST lift hill view... as long as you ride it before Leviathan
Wes Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 The view isn't bad from it, but I remember the sun being in my Reyes for the lift of Ge Force as well. Â I hate when the sun is in your Reyes. Â Â
booink Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 Little Dipper at Little A-Merrick-A I know that thing dates from one year ago but that picture just made my day ! As for me I'd say Goliath @ La Ronde where you have an absolutely beautiful view on your left of a huge salt dumpster which they put on our roads during winter.
prozach626 Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Little Dipper at Little A-Merrick-A Â Â This made me LOL!
Dr. M Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Green Lantern (SFGA) is your standard parking lot coaster I guess, but during the lift it really feels like it's in the middle of the parking lot, like it's barely even in the park.
arby Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 ^^^Hilarious! That might be great during October.
VF15 Posted July 19, 2014 Posted July 19, 2014 From what I've ridden, probably Excalibur at VF because to the left, it's an industrial area, and to the right, it's just trees.
