_koppen Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 Always thought this ride looked awesome, glad to see that it will deliver!
spinning man Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 Does anybody know how fast those lifts go? They look pretty speedy.
Gigalyte Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 That looks pretty cool and I'm sure with some weight in the boats like real people it will probably be a even faster and have a bigger splash with the added weight and speed. Overall looks like it will be a fun ride, I can't wait to see the station to see if it stays true to concept art b/c the station looked just as cool as the ride imo.
AstroDan Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 The ride looks ugly as it stands. Are there plans to add theming and/or much landscaping? Â The full speeds do look good, though!
Real Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 Hey look at that, the ride looks great! Showing once again that most enthusiasts should just be quiet until they've either ridden a ride or seen a REAL test run!!!!!  Aww you mean the very first runs arent REAL test runs and arent good indications of final runs? lol Agreed. People like to judge the "alpha" and "beta" stages of development as if it were the "final" release. Robb should know all about this being in the gaming industry.
Meteornotes Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 Showing once again that most enthusiasts should just be quiet until they've either ridden a ride or seen a REAL test run!!!!! Â Ah, if only... Â dt
Geauga Dog Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 I actually find Divertical quite fascinating and it looks great. With no splash at the bottom of the big drop I'm thinking they will do a wall of water to simulate a splash.
jedimaster1227 Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 http://blog.mirabilandia.it/2012/05/17/una-settimana-impegnativa/  Una settimana impegnativa E’ stata una settimana molto impegnativa per il nostro Divertical. Molti test, tutti andati benissimo. Abbiamo pensato di scattare qualche foto da regalarvi in attesa che giunga il momento dell’inaugurazione.
XYZ Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 The colors look so good on this coaster. I had my doubts about these colors at the beginning as it could've ended up looking really ugly, but these pictures well exceeded my expectations.
_koppen Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 I really love that they are testing this thing without dummies, imagine with 8 people in them, it's gonna haul ass through that track!
Kooky Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 there are a bunch of new videos: Â a massive testing video, with some really hi-speed testing: Â and four funny advertising spots:
RCT3Bross Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 Those videos of those four different persons where awesome. That video from the Pupa I could not hold it anymore when that duck sound came. Must say that ride looks great.
Gigalyte Posted May 24, 2012 Posted May 24, 2012 Pupa Pupa Pupa  Talk about a commercial you would never see in America there just to much going on lol
nightforce Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 (edited) Di Vertical On ride ! POV! Â Edited June 1, 2012 by jedimaster1227
A.J. Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 I am a moron. That is all. Â Looks like a ton of fun! I really wish that there were more water coasters in the US. I never got to ride Buzzsaw Falls.
DATman Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 Looks like an awesome ride! I really hope more parks invest in these.
_koppen Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 Mirabilandia's homepage says a June 16 opening! Is that good enough for the TPR trip? Would be nice with some fellow TRP'ers review of this thing!
The Yeti Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 I really wish that there were more water coasters in the US. I never got to ride Buzzsaw Falls. Â You missed out on nothing...Journey To Atlantis or something like this is/looks way better. I'm not sure I love the ride DiVertical, but I definitely don't like the name...Maybe it's just that the whole thing just looks a little "meh" amid the height and cool lift. However, I am really happy that this ride isn't just one drop - the extra hills and turns really add a lot.
SharkTums Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 ^^We have first ride of the day on it already scheduled for our visit! Â Has anyone seen a height restriction for the ride yet?
rollerross45 Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 Do I spot water Splash effects after the main drop, Yes I do. Makes me happy it wood look weird if it didn't like in the test videos. Now that looks right, hope they add more landscaping and water effects to the beginning though look a bit bland Cant wait to ride this when I go to Italy for my vacation.
