coasterbill 295
This is definitely shaping up to be the second best ride in the park themed to lumber.
deguy123 0
Twisted Timbers looks fantastic! I am most surprised by the ride's length! What a great addition to the park. The POV if I'm looking correctly makes it seem they have extended the structure beyond the original Hurler layout? I could be wrong but can't wait to see the actual layout! coastin_dude 0
The second inversion looks insane! Reminds me of that stall on Outlaw Run.
Hilltopper39 15
So Cedar Fair is going all on the the (Blank) Timbers theme I guess. 2019 Timber Wolf becoems Terrific Timbers for Worlds of Fun 2020 Grizzly at Great America to become Magnificent Timbers 2021 Dorney park to build new family coaster Tiny Timbers "Timbers" is the new "Hawk" --- and I'm okay with that.... Timber Hawk hurler conversion, new for Carowinds in 2019.
SFOGdude25 0
Very solid RMC. I love the 3 straight airtime hills toward the beginning.
thrillseeker4552 33
Something interesting to note.... Twisted Timbers' cars are not typical RMC trains. Each car runs on two road wheels per side, whereas typical RMCs run on one per side. Just something I noticed. They are almost built more like the Gerstlauer trains on NTAG and IR. In an interview, RMC said that the 2018 US coasters would be getting new train design, or something along those lines. -Edit: Late response Edited August 16, 2017 by CedarFanboy

The POV if I'm looking correctly makes it seem they have extended the structure beyond the original Hurler layout? I could be wrong but can't wait to see the actual layout! I think the additional length comes from the extra height added to the ride, especially on that insane airtime alley after the first overbank.

Ed Farmer 4
The amount of elements they were able to cram into this layout is amazing.

RollerManic 0
I'm not surprised by the barrel roll drop. It was pretty apparent to me when they began work and cut away so much of the top of the drop that it would be a barrel roll drop. BUT THOSE TRAINS. WOW

thrilladdict 0
I'm glad to see that the new 2018 RMC trains still lack OTSR's... unlike their Raptor trains.

thrilladdict 0
I wasn't slamming them or being unduly negative, just pointing it out. I think they're there for capacity reasons mostly on the raptors anyways. You have to admit that it would be sad to see the big RMC's w/ that situation.
JT325 0
I'm glad to see that the new 2018 RMC trains . What's new about them? Are they different than past RMC trains?
