Hhappy
that indoor virtual balcony looks insane. And can I say it again.. Indoor Skydive and flowrider on a cruise ship ?!?!?!?!? Darn it.. I know where I would be spending most of my time onboard
BeemerBoy
Hang on. So RCCL is forced to limit the tricks you're allowed to do on the Flowrider, but they're gonna have an indoor skydiving thing??? I've done both, and I can definitely say the risk for injury seems much greater with the indoor skydiving. As for everything else so far....I like it. Well, except for the bumper cars. Those seem a bit stupid.
Moose
The concept art for the indoor balcony looks surprisingly good. A lot less claustrophobic feeling than current interior cabins!
Mrlittle
So I know which cruise line I want to take for my first cruise. Bumper cars and skydiving, that's insane.
DougMJr
I wonder how spacious the indoor skydiving will be. I know most land-based ones are pretty small. Great that it is not an up-charge!
jmicha
Whoa...I've yet to go on a cruise unfortunately, but this ship is looking pretty enticing. I'd love to try that indoor skydiving. And those LED walls? Amazing!
BeemerBoy
I'm curious to see how they'll price those "virtual balcony" cabins.
SharkTums
I feel like Royal Caribbean has somehow gotten into my brain!?!??! From Cruise Critic: Adrenaline also will be the name of the game at SeaPlex, Royal Caribbean's largest indoor activity space at sea. Here, activities range from bumper cars, to circus school with juggling and a flying trapeze, to roller skating. During daylight hours, the circus school will be available, along with a traditional basketball court. At night, the disco lights and DJ music come out and the area transforms into a bumper car arena and roller skating dance rink. All that fun can make a person hungry, so an on-site food truck will offer a variety of treats. Flying Trapeze and a Food Truck!?!?!

TPDave
Interesting!! I like the idea of the huge internal screens but I'm not sure if the effect will be as good as the virtual portholes since everything I've seen about the Disney ship says they have super high res screens. If they can get the resolution right on a large panel then this will looks breathtaking, I guess we have to wait and see
SharkTums
^And we won't have to wait too long. They're going to install them on Navigator of the Seas during it's rehab this December.
Moose
Any word on if it will increase the pricing of interior cabins?
TPDave
^^Sounds good - I like when tech moves quickly Also - I'm loving the awesomeness of the non-upcharge attractions. It puts into even starker contrast the $5 laser tag on Carnival :S
SharkTums
^^It did on the Disney ships with the interior virtual port hole. I assume with this ship, the itineraries offered, and home porting out of NYC we're going to see some REALLY high prices.

A.J.
Ahem... Quantum (n) - The smallest amount of a physical quantity that can exist independently. Aside from the inaccurate name (which I will make fun of until I die or forget about it, whichever comes first), the new ship looks great. I wonder how long it will be until we see a big flat ride (like a Power Surge or something) being built on a cruise ship?
scbt
All I can think is that I would probably walk into the virtual balcony screen and break it.

Guy T. Koepp
Oooooooo! A 200' S&S drop tower, while the ship is listing in high seas would make for an awesome ride!

COASTER FREAK 11
I predict carnival will see this and say: "We can go that too, look! We put a reverse bungee on our boats and it only costs $25"
