SharkTums Posted May 23, 2009 Posted May 23, 2009 Looking great Shane! We're getting closer to planning a trip up to Salt Lake this Summer!
goldcntry Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 Amazing Shane! I love the detail on the Woody: your personalized license plates! Can't wait to bring the kids there next month!
DisWiz Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 I just drove by it Shane about 3 hours ago and I was amazed how much difference two weeks makes. Seriously with all the great props and theming you've added it looks so dense ! It seriously looks great from the freeway! I can't wait to be driving by and seeing that bucket tipping pretty soon.
IggyACE Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 Fantastic Shane! OK I found a reference to your name and one for West, is there one for Fisher anywhere? Might be out there this summer for Lagoon and will have to stop on by! Craig

montezooma Posted June 7, 2009 Author Posted June 7, 2009 Well I should be on the TPR Scandi trip, but instead I am home, just 5 days away from the opening of Cowabunga Bay. They sure had bad timing for me on planning that trip. I am sure they will have a GREAT time over there without me. I have posted plenty of photos of the Giant Play Structure we are building but in this update I thought I would show a few of the other elements of the park. It is really turning out nice, it is always the details that make the difference. I found a nice subtle place to put my signature on the project. you can never have enough SPLASH pictures Tickets Change rooms Atmosphere, Atmosphere, Atmosphere of course the "Cowabunga Splash" is the heart of the park my tribute to one of my all time favorite Disney attractions. Tiki Room (original version thank you) I heard it from the Dippin' Dot guy that they are putting in the old Greezed Lightnin shuttle loop next year. You can have a VIP experience with a private cabana. more surf safari theme The surf buggy will have water features spraying out of the back Sail the Mighty Cowabunga a shot of the entrance to Cowabunga River and surf safari lazy river pumps are now fired up and water is flowing The surfer woody was finally hoisted into place and the play structure is now finished except for a few small water adjustments
ghost007jas Posted June 7, 2009 Posted June 7, 2009 It all looks absolutely fantastic! I love the color scheme of the buildings, it has a great feel to it. Good luck with the grand opening!

BeemerBoy Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 Seriously, this place really looks great! Please build one in Chattanooga next.
netdvn Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 The Good: - Excellent job on the theming. Attention to detail is top notch. - Colors make the play structure look eye-catching. - The huge play structure is perfect for families - A possible Schwarzkopf shuttle loop is coming to the park! The Bad: - Too bad I probably won't visit anytime soon. Overall: - The entire park is incredible. And the mountains in the background look beautiful against the colorful play structure. - I wish you luck on making this park highly successful PS: Are you gonna release brochures/maps for this park. If so, I would love to have some to add to my slowly increasing brochure collection. I would also like to make up for the brochures my anti-brochure parents tore to shreds yesterday.
astroworldfan1 Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 WOW! Shane, you're on Disney's level now! This is absolutely amazing! -Tatum
