coasterkyle Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 3 and 4 look like they are station/ brake run pieces flipped upside down so they are resting on their rails.
coasterchitchat Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 The blue is most likely going to Carowinds, since Cedar Fair likes blue B&M Gigas. The red/orange is probably a turkey themed wing rider going to Holiday World.
neil009 Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 ^Turkey-themed, eh? Turkey as in gobble-gobble? Really?
OneOfTheWills Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 2 is not behind 3. 2 is on top of 3. I have a fairly strong understanding of perspectives and cameras. It's on top. Might be making a trip to CSF next week or so.
LogBur Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 I have a fairly strong understanding of perspectives and cameras. I guess that settles it.
RyanTPM Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 Yeah, if you zoom in you can easily see that those track pieces are on top of each other. And it can't be a wing rider because of the different rail ties.
OneOfTheWills Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 Ok, so just for a minute let us play the speculation game. We can see those ties are different than other types of track ties. My question, why would the ties need to be different? Not why could they but why would they need to be different? And go.
RyanTPM Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 ^In order to take all the different forces, which could also mean a new train?.
KBrylczyk Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 I have a fairly strong understanding of perspectives and cameras.
rcjp Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 ^Ok so that one really is checked now. Now for the three others...
RCT3Bross Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 So I was right about the white, but yeah was basically a giveaway. Anyway good to see that one color is known, still hoping the orange/red one coming to the Netherlands because I really want to see the pieces of our first B&M at the factory.
RyanTPM Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 Great to know that the white track is for Gardaland. Still three/four more to go! still expecting the red track is for a new model though, which it most likely will be.
OneOfTheWills Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 I have a fairly strong understanding of perspectives and cameras. hahaha basically, yes.
ZeroGravity55 Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 Idk if I just read where somebody said they might slipping by steel plant this week, but if you're specifically looking for HW track, the tag might not necessarily say HW on it. Look for KDC or Koch Development Corporation. That is the company that owns HW.
RyanTPM Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 ^We won't be able to tell where it's going from the label as that should just say X-works like all B&M's do now. But from the code, we will be able to tell what coaster type it is.
BDG Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 (edited) Our Dutch spy has shared some more photos... trip report style (in Dutch): http://themepark.nl/ubb/ubbthreads.php/topics/2132316/Re_B_M_Fabriek_Ohio.html#Post2132316 high res photos at Flickr: Edited July 3, 2014 by BDG
coasterchitchat Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 That light blue is most likely going to Carowinds. Leviathan looks like that color as well. Red/Orange is probably going to Holiday World, probably testing a launch coaster there (I don't understand why the Kochs would take a chance after Pilgrim's Plunge/Giraffca)
RyanTPM Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 Great pictures! That ends speculation of those two pieces being one, but still doesn't explain the rail ties. To add to speculation here, in that collection of photos on Flickr there is something strange. In the first photo if you look in the background there is one HUGE support being taken out of the factory, now what could that be for?.
Dom497 Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 Well, based off those pictures, the two pieces of red track aren't attached.
RCT3Bross Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 Still thinking that orange/red one is a dive. Looks bigger then the teal an yellow, fits since dive coasters are bigger. Don't think we need to look that far into the ties, I mean they're going slightly different and the whole coaster world is in a chaos trying to figure out why. Just my way of thinking here.
KBrylczyk Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 ^Unless it is a new type Oh, please. B&M doesn't come up with new ideas. They wait until another manufacturer comes up with something groundbreaking and then they copy it a year or two later.
RyanTPM Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 ^^Rail ties are a good way of identifying what type of B&M track pieces are. It cant be a large dive machine because the track would be larger and the rail ties would be flat. But that massive support in the background is new, not seen one that big before. Could be part of a tower like on cheetah hunt or a support for the lifthill of the carowinds giga?
Invertalon Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 ^Unless it is a new type Oh, please. B&M doesn't come up with new ideas. They wait until another manufacturer comes up with something groundbreaking and then they copy it a year or two later. You forgot to add... And end up doing it RIGHT. The Vekoma flyers to the B&M versions... No contest there. The Intamin "wingriders" to the B&M version... Again, from what I hear no contest (never been on the one or two Intamin's built...) The arrow suspended to the B&M invert... Well, that one is easy! Togo standup to the B&M version... (while no standup is all that great, B&M improved this immensely) I see nothing wrong with how B&M does business. They do things well and right the first time... You can't deny how solid and well engineered their rides are.
