Shavethewhales
^Probably not until the ride is ready, but you can see them in the shop here: http://greatcoastersinterns.com/photos.php?s=
Jive
Train #1 actually showed up this morning.
BuschSchoe
Thanks for sharing Jive! I just absolutely love Millineuim Flyer trains. The dark blue, green, and black go really well together and make a nice looking train.
CreditCrazy
Yeah, those trains look really cool. Can't get any better than MF's! They'll just...fly on the track.
coastb2
That lap bar needs some nice soft padding. Right now it looks like a thigh pain machine.
dr.gumbo
^ Clearly you haven't been on a GCI. From what I hear, these trains are supposed to be very comfortable.
Vffreak07
They are extremely comfy. Think of sitting in a couch (or bench) and riding a roller coaster on it. It's fun stuff.
Jive
Join us Sunday March 1st for a group Prowler construction tour at Worlds of Fun. This tour is open to active coaster club members and guests of club members (limit 3 guests per club member). Please keep in mind that the Prowler site is still an active construction site, which means you might get some dirt on you. There are also trip hazards and nails scattered throughout the site. There is no climbing on the ride and all tourists must stick with the group. Photography is encouraged. The tour will start at noon. We will cancel the tour for rain or extreme cold so please keep an eye on tour page for updates. We will also contact everyone that has RSVP'd if we do have to cancel. All attendees will need to RSVP by Tuesday Feb 24th. I'll keep a running list so please send me an email at jason@coastercommunity.com with your contact information, the group that you belong to and how many guests you're bringing. Tour updates can be found here Group Prowler Tour
Jive
Major bent construction is done. http://prowler.worldsoffun.com/public/latest/index.cfm?gallery_directory=construction&startRow=331&maxRow=
CreditCrazy
^Hmm, in that picture and a few of the others, it looks a lot like a "regular" GCI (not that it's bad to be a regular GCI or anything ). I was just thinking it'd be more spread out and hidden. It's probably just that one part of the ride. Hopefully the rest will be more "unknown". Jive
This shot is also from the official Prowler page.
gotdane
This will be amazing with all the trees filled in. The beginning looks great with the zig-zag set up and the return run with all the air time should be very fun. Lookin like a great coaster! DiSab
Agreed, it looks like it'll be an amazing ride. However, I did think it was going to go farther out than it does. Not saying that's a bad thing, but I didn't realize it dog-legged so sharply, and the turnaround was so close to the lift/station/brake run. Philrad71
This really looks great! I would imagine a ride in the front seat at night would be awesome.
Sticky Nicky
I really had my doubts about this coaster when it was announced but now, it really looks like a top-notch family coaster.
CreditCrazy
^I don't know, this thing looks pretty intense, maybe not so much of a family coaster, but an awesome intense wooden coaster!
Guest
Any idea why the brakerun would be banked (or is it just the angle)? Never seen that before..
Eric_Smith
^I'm pretty sure that is just a weird angle. It would be weird if it was banked though. EDIT: Looking at the website, the track is banked... Click Here
Jive
It's weird to walk on because my mind thought that it should be level. I don't get why it's banked either.
DBru
Interesting...this ride reminds me a LOT of the Legend in it's premier season. Some portions of the ride all occurred in one compact area, but other parts of the ride went way back into the deep forest, surrounded by nothing but trees all around. Jive
There's going to be a season pass holder preview night May 1st. http://www.worldsoffun.com/public/news/blog/index.cfm?entry=c437434b-59b6-40a8-8e93-8d05e7d3f355
Looty
^Wow that's a bummer that it isn't opening with the park in April. I was planning on going down there opening weekend
Hobbesx2
It's not opening with the park??? Damn it. This is not good news...
DBru
Will this be the first project GCI hasn't finished in time? (Or maybe the ride was never intended to open with the park...?)
