coneyislandchris
Let me clarify. I rode it four times in total, twice each day between yesterday and today. Ride 1: 2nd to last row, far right. Lots of ejector, but no serious pain. Ride 2: 4th row from front, far left. No pain. Ride 3: Last row, far left. Thrown all over the place, slammed VERY hard into the restraints on the first bit of ejector. This is what caused intense pain to my right thigh. I am not exaggerating or trying to make it sound worse than it is. This ride quite literally caused me to limp for the remainder of the day, and even now nearly twelve hours later I am still feeling soreness. Ride 4: Front row, far right. Smoothest ride by far. Still got crazy air, but wasn't anywhere near as bad as the previous ride. So yeah. Roll your eyes as much as you'd like, but the fact remains; in certain seats on this ride, and for people of a certain size, there is probably going to be pain involved. EVEN WITH THAT SAID, and with the harsh thigh pain I've suffered with for over half the day at this point, this was still my favorite coaster in the park by far, bought the shirt to add to my collection, and I'd rate it a 9/10 overall. I just won't be sitting in that damned rear left seat ever again.
Superbatboy
Skyrush is definitely uncomfortable, but it's worth it!! What a bat s*** crazy ride it is!!

coneyislandchris
Awesome. Glad you guys enjoy it so much, really wish I was able to. Clearly I'm either too old or too hefty to do so anymore. Maybe with a different type of restraint it wouldn't have been nearly as bad for me, but that's OK. I'll stick to the other seats until that happens.

Superbatboy
Was watching this video and realized it's in the queue for Fahrenheit, the line moves incredibly slow so the reaction is understandable lol [youtu_be] [/youtu_be]
Coaster Hero
^Not surprised. Fahrenheit's line can be ridiculous for whatever reason
Angle O. Descent
^ This is why I always hit Fahrenheit right at the beginning of the day. Walked on twice in a row at 10am. It only gets worse from there.
Paradox
Why is Fahrenheit's line so bad?
Angle O. Descent
Low capacity. The trains only take 12 riders at a time. That's only 36 riders for three trains.

TyRush
Doesn't make sense to put a tower ride next to another tower ride. Now I understand they would be two different rides, but eh I don't know. I agree with the idea but not the location. Praying for that Intamin Skyjump
Coaster Hero
Oh yes, this is what I've wanted here ever since Skyrush! I always knew a drop tower would be a great fit for this park, and hopefully it's an Intamin Skyjump!

blk_mamba
I think that a drop tower is a big difference maker for the park. I don't like the location is b/c I think it will impact the Kiss Tower however I understand the location b/c a nice drop tower will help with crowd control and getting more people in that area. Another thought is what type of tower? I'd love a Falcon Fury still drop tower but that might be too extreme for Hersehey. GOSH I hope this rumor is true! Nickstroberg
^^Yeah I'm pretty sure a park with THREE, KICKASS Intamins would be okay with a Falcons Fury styled drop tower.
blk_mamba
I agree HP does have some intense coasters I think that if they built a drop ride they'd want to make it something for the entire family.
KBrylczyk
if they built a drop ride they'd want to make it something for the entire family. What kind of drop rides have you been riding? You have a choice. A kid friendly one (frog hopper) or a not kid friendly one (everything else). I've not seen a small kid ride a full size drop tower and enjoy themselves. They're usually crying and screaming bloody murder.
TyRush
If you want something for the family, there is a new coaster called LaffTrakk that you could check out. Hershey is not just a family park, they strive to reach the thrill seekers.
A.J.
If you want something for the family, there is a new coaster called LaffTrakk that you could check out. Hershey is not just a family park, they strive to reach the thrill seekers. Whoa there buddy, slow down a bit. If Hersheypark only strove to reach the thrill seeker, they'd be in trouble. Every amusement park has to be a family park in some way, otherwise families would have no reason to take their children who can't or are not willing to experience the headlining "wow factor" attractions. The Boardwalk and Laff Track have gone a long way to bring more mass appeal to Hersheypark, sure. But one of those is a water attraction that only operates between Memorial and Labor Days, and the other is a large roller coaster in a dark, possibly-scary-to-some-children environment. If I'm not mistaken, wasn't Howler the last outdoor "family" attraction added to the park in recent memory? That was seven years ago. EDIT: Cocoa Cruiser too, but still? A six year gap without a single outdoor family attraction?
