P. 417 - Fury back open now with 100% less crack!

They won't need the larger cranes to remove the brace. There are still cranes in the park (including the one in the pic) and others being used to put up slingshot. I'm sure they know what they are doing.


But just to be sure, wouldn't it be better if a couple of rollercoaster enthusiast called them and told them how to do their work..??

Those braces will be down in the blink of an eye...park wanted to get the course done before worrying about the small things. Chain installation is finish, focusing on entry plaza and bridge over the dive.


I would urge you guys in twitter to follow the parks GM mike. This man is the core of what it means to love what you do and he loves keeping us in the loop. He is passionate about the park and the future of carowinds and he appreciate us enthusiast so please, give him a follow... @mikefehnel. You won't be diaapointed!

The Taste of Carolinas will be held Saturday and Sundays between April 18 and May 17, 2015. Food booths will be open from 11:00 am until one hour before the park closes.
