P. 418: Camp Snoopy expansion announced including new family coaster

teal track still looks like a invert/flyer to me. If it is going to Carowinds, the blueprints that were "leaked" aren't correct... unless they're getting 2 coasters?

Sorry for interupting in the middle of all this speculation, but I'll be going to the park next week and Ive never been. Where is a good place to get discounted tickets or coupons?.... the best deal for a one day visit

^The color scheme does look cool, but wouldn't the neon green normally cover a bit more of track and not just the bottom? Not that it's very important, just because usually in this type of double color scheme half of the spine is in on color and the other in another.

That does look kind of odd seeing just the track but it wouldn't be the first time they've done it like that. To be completely honest, I never really looked that close at Behemoth to notice until now.

^^^ I was thinking that to myself as well. Normally painted the neon yellow would be painted up the spine leaving an inch to a few for the secondary color on the rails and top of the spine. As shown on Behemoth as well as Mantis, Gatekeeper and Raptor. It just seems weird that just the bottom of the spine is painted neon yellow but I still love this scheme.

Also the colors go with with the media invite that were sent out not to long ago. I think TheDark8 mention this already.

Actually the best deal going on right now is online through the park:

https://www.carowinds.com/tickets/

$29.99 for 8/9 through 9/1.

Well there ya go!

Aug 21st I shall await patiently for.

I do like how more parks are making serious attempts, (or at least any attempt) at teasing with these announcements.

We've known the August 21 date for weeks. Very exciting though!

I generally avoid the speculation, in fact I do this with movies, albums, most things. It causes me even greater surprise and joy, though I am sometimes dreadfully out of the loop with stuff

The track and teasers don't match up with the name centurion. I could see them matching up with fury 325, but what does that have to do with a big net? Maybe the coaster won't be called centurion or fury 325?

The 'Centurion" trademark was suspended. The ride will not be named Centurion. The ride may be named Fury 325 and be themed to a bee hive or something, but the Rome teasing was just about the park expanding and growing itself. The teal and neon yellow is 90% Carowinds.

Something is interesting about the track pieces... They have a lowered spine like for brakes segments, yet they are curved... ?

Do you know if such configuration already exists somewhere?

Those curved pieces.. Could they be for a curved brake run a la Mantis without the banking. But the blueprints don't look like a curved brake run - the last curve pre-brake has a rather small straight section before it. Could this be the pre-lift turn? But Gatekeeper uses normal spine for that IIRC... Hmm...

So do every B&M I checked on RCDB... Only Oziris keep the lowered (well, raised) spine on its pre-lift, but it's barely a turn.
