SonOfBeastSucks
The Departed-It was good, and it didn't seem like it was 2 1/2 hours long, it went by pretty quickly. Don't see it if you can't handle blood though...several people get shot in the head, and one guy falls off a skyscrapper and his blood goes everywhere... coastercam4554
Ok guys, I am an old movie fan so......today I was sick and stayed home from school. I watched too great movies! Lucas, and Hoosiers. Last night I watched Selena, which rocked! Yea, pretty lame, but, I am a huge movie fan, and I love 70's and 80's movies alot. And some old, old movies. But if you want to know my favorite new movies out, well ok. I am going to see 8 films to die for, if anyone's heard of that. I am going to see Borat, look so funny! I've seen Taladega Nights. I saw you me and dupree. And many more that arn't hitting my mind right now, but there you are!
CoasterExpert13
High Tension (2005) Rating: 8/10 Story: Marie and Alexia are classmates and best friends. Hoping to prepare for their college exams in peace and quiet, they decide to spend a weekend in the country at Alexia's parents' secluded farmhouse. But in the dead of night, a stranger knocks on the front door. And with the first swing of his knife, the girls' idyllic weekend turns into an endless night of horror. Check it out here----movies.yahoo.com/movie/1808616053/info My Thoughts: This movie was good, maybe not as good as the "Saw" series or "Hostel", but good none-the-less. The only part that I disliked about this movie was that for the most part, it was spoken in english...though with an accent it was still understandable. The out of no where, the main characters throughout the movie spoke french lines at random, in which seemed dubbed and then also subtitled at the bottom of the screen. The point of that? I don't know...but aside from that, the movies has some really cool, but foul sences...most notiable, the murder scences. The end of the movie however pissed me off...check it out for yourself. Good movie throughout and worth watching.
Movieguy
I saw two movies yesterday: Stranger Than Fiction: 8/10 It's refreshing to see Will Ferrel in a movie where he's not acting like some hyperactive man-child. It's also nice to see a film that's funny, yet thoughtful at the same time. This film is just a bit flawed, and really doesn't pay attention to some of the details that it should, but it was pretty good, overall. The DaVinci Code: 6/10 This film was decent...not great, but decent. It didn't help that I could see one of the film's major twists coming from a mile away. Plus, Tom Hanks was completely miscast in his role. I know how tight he is with Ron Howard, but I really think that someone else would have been a better choice to play Robert langdon. TatsuXtreme
Akira - This is the only anime movie that i have ever seen. It is so grusom and gory that even the non squeemish will have to look away at some point. The story line holds you to it though. It is in english. It is rated R. It does have Cussing, and it does have nudity. witch is why i give it a 8/
Sir Clinksalot
Mission Impossible: III Yeah, pretty much sucked. I did watch the whole thing but there was nothing new or greatly exciting about it. Too bad JJ Abrams first movie had to suck. I still think the first Mission Impossible movie is the best. socalMAN123
Happy Feet 10/10 Wow, what can I say about this movie. It was purely awesome. Almost nothing in the world gets better than a bunch of dancing penguins. Great storyline, reminded me of Shrek in the way there were jokes for kids and jokes for older people. ---Brent

NitroRider
Casino Royale was dynomite! 10/10! Flags of Our Fathers was even better then that! It gets a rating that I have only ever given to Napoleon Dynamite, Star Trek Nemesis and Nitro: 15/10!
Chase
I just saw Casino Royale, and man was it action packed and excellent! This is the best James Bond yet, and it was the best Movie of the Year! Rating: 10/
pvcoasterguy
Casino Royale: 10/10 This Bond breaks the mold. And it amazes all who see it. Intense, gritty, violent, thematic... this film has it all. Daniel Craig plays a badass Bond, and I believe the series has been revitalized by this 'real world' Bond. There is so much emotion and passion in Casino Royale... you were emotionally involved for the entire film.
SonOfBeastSucks
Stranger Than Fiction It was bloody fantastic, mate! I loved it. In my opinion, the second best movie of the year, with #1 being Little Miss Sunshine. I thought it was going to be good, but it ended up being GREAT! I can't wait to see it again. coasterdude5
Casino Royale: 11/10 It was that good. But it's alot different from the others, so don't expect the same old movies like the past few, you'll be a little dissapointed. Craig is a great bond and hopefully will reboot the series. obeygiant
a little late, but i just saw The Prestige...6/10.. I didn't like it that much..the ending was good and all, but the beginning was kinda slow...the "twist" at the end was also kinda confusing (and I like movies that make you think!)..I will say it was directed ok, but thats about it... coastercam4554
I saw Little Miss Sunshine last night. The movie theater plays movies a little while longer after they are no longer playing at other theaters. Anyway, it was the best comedy i have seriously ever seen! I laughed my ribs out! I thought I wouldn't like it, but now I'm so glad I saw it.

socalMAN123
True Grit 9/10 I love old Western flicks, so my dad said I might enjoy this one. I really thought it was well-made, John Wayne really knows how to act! Great movie, wouldn't mind seeing it again sometime. ---Brent

Spookbaby
I watched "Mrs. Henderson Presents" last night. Freaking hysterical. Judy Dench in this movie is the elderly woman that I aspire to be someday. Laura "midlands" Huls
DATman
Who else wants to see "The History Boys"? Howl's Moving Castle: I really enjoyed this movie! It was fun and imaginitive. It told a really wonderful story, and the characters were perfect. If you haven't seen this (Or "Spirited Away", for that matter), do so.
socalMAN123
Elf 9/10 I really liked this movie, even though it was like the 50th I've watched it. Great movie, had some funny parts. I wanna go to that mailroom! ---Brent
TatsuXtreme
Borat - The Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benifit Glorious Nation of Kazakstan I didn't really find that much humor in this movie. Just a bunch of potty jokes. The gay wrestling mach was the stupidest thing ever. Now, dont get me wrong, i love Ali G, but Borat, was just kinda stupid. not really worth my $10.00 4/10[/u]
