The ride won't get to 85 degrees until about halfway down the drop... The drop has only just started construction. Wait a few days or weeks until the entire drop is finished before deciding.

The drop is made that way for a larger parabolic ain't it? So you get optimal air time or floating down the drop itself.

OK, thanks guys. I thought it would get to the 85 degrees faster. I guess I should give it the benefit of the doubt! In any case, I am very excited to get up there to ride it next year.

I think you'll just lazily float down the drop insyead of ejected out.. be prepared to fall asleep.

 

The lift looked sweet but the drop is totally ruining it for me.

I agree. Everyone knows that looking at 2 pictures of a partially constructed drop is the same as riding the ride.

The fact that the drop will be 80+ft taller than anything else at Wonderland, no matter what angle the drop will end up being, it will be amazing.

Let me just say it again, that drop will NOT be 85 degrees at ANY point.

^ It doesn't seem that far fetched to me.

 

Looking at what's been built so far, seems the drop is already close to ~75 degrees. And the steepest section of track hasn't been installed yet.

 

Edit: Actually, it looks closer to 60 degrees. Still isn't too much of a stretch for it to get to 85.

Maybe im missing something here, but why are some many people doubting the 85 degreee drop bit. It is being advertised as an 85 degree drop, and its not like B&M has not made steeper ones.

I'm sure it will be 85 degrees, but even if it is 74 like some of you guys have been saying it will be great. Nitro's and Apollo's Chariot's drop's are both incredible and they are only at 66 and 65 degrees.

Yeah, that's what I was trying to say. If the pull in to the drop is already at 60 degrees, adding another 25 degrees at the apex isn't that hard to believe.
