jten11 Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 My top ten includes(I know its B&M heavy, but look where I stay!): 1. Goliath (SFoG)- It's pretty obvious on my avitar! The best ride, EVER (for me, at least) 2. Dania Beach Hurricane (Boomers)- A great little woodie in Daina Beach, FL 3. Montu (BGT)- Love the elements and scenary on this ride (Also I lost my cell phone on this ride!) 4. Sheikra (BGT)- scary-ass first drop...I also love its towering presence. 5. Kumba (BGT) - A classic. You can't NOT like this ride. 6. Incredible Hulk (IOA)- Like the launched lift into the inversion. The whole ride is great. 7. Deja Vu (SFoG)- A very underrated ride (well at least in my eyes). Even though it has poor capacity, it makes up for delivering a awesome ride. 8. Georiga Scorcher (SFoG) - For a standup, very smooth and intense. Like the compact design. 9. Gwazi (BGT) - My first wooden dueling(when it wants to) coaster. I dont understand how a lot of people thinks it's real rough. This is, for the most part, a pretty smooth ride for me last year. (We'll see again come around November) 10. Cheetah (Wild Adventures)- The coaster that broke my wooden-coaster-virginity. Its pretty rough, but definately still enjoyed it.

Homer Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 Homer's Top Ten (pre-Midwest Trip) 1. Kumba Its just a mindblowing and forceful ride. It never loses steam. The last helix blacks me out once in a while. If a coaster could blow my brains out, Kumba could do it any day. 2. Montu The first half, hands down, owns all other inverted coasters. And yes, I've ridden DD, Raptor, and Batman. That and the themed trenches were well done. 3. Dueling Dragons (Fire or Ice) Longest yet best themed queue ever. The ride, just as forceful and awesome as ever. I don't really have a preference as to what side but the ride in general is in my top 3. 4. Revenge of the Mummy Yet another awesomely themed queue, awesome airtime all over. Badass launch too. 5. SheiKra I have yet to ride the floorless version. However, I still hope the ride has kept its airtime. The Immelman's "Yay" airtime and the ejector on the second drop still better be there... 6. Mindbender Herr Actherbahn's greatest design ever. Forceful loops and a crazy dive that gives you the illusion of crashing into a waterfall. 7. Georgia Scorcher Best B&M Standup by far. Almost reminiscent of a Schwarzkopf design. Tight and forceful and I bet more headchoppers now thanks to Goliath. 8. Batman: The Ride Forceful old skool B&M. Although it is not as awesome as Montu. 9. Great American Scream Machine Out of the few woodies I have ridden this was the best at keeping a smile on my face and the mass of ejector air. 10. Half Pipe (Elitch Gardens) Fun yet short ride. It delivers a mix of air and spinning along with a fun little launch. The only peeve was that the ride hurts your shoulders. Other than that, it deserved a spot on my top ten.
Adrenaline_Rush Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 1. Montu 2. Incredible Hulk 3. Dueling Dragons - Ice 4. SheiKra 5. Kumba 6. Expedition Everest 7. Gwazi - Lion 8. Dueling Dragons - Fire 9. Gwazi - Tiger 10. Scorpion It may sound kinda misordered, but thats the exact way I like my coasters
easytoremember Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 Homer's Top Ten (pre-Midwest Trip) 9. Great American Scream Machine Out of the few woodies I have ridden this was the best at keeping a smile on my face and the mass of ejector air. Ejector air? on GASM? There has not been ejector air on this ride for many years.

ghost007jas Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 ^ Meaning no offense to your opinion, but I find it odd that you not only have Raptor at the top of your list, but the fact you have it above Maverick and Millennium Force, not to mention Raging Bull. I'm curious to know what you like about Raptor?
