defrocker
I realized in doing this that most of my new rides are a year old when I ride them... interesting. For the purpose of this exercise, I called KD my home park. I've ridden their new coasters the year they came out since Hypersonic in 2000.  1997 Alpengeist  2002 Wicked Twister  2003 Flying Ace Aerial Chase - Carowinds  2004 Storm Runner Nighthawk Thunderhead  2005 Motor World Express - Virginia Beach Motor World (Go ahead, call me a credit whore)  2006 El Toro Voyage Kentucky Rumbler  2007 Griffon  2008 Fahrenheit  2010 Intimidator Sky Rocket  2015 Fury 325  2016 Valravn  2017 Mystic Timbers (InvadR)

TwistyTie
I rode Iron Rattler the day it opened. Or, to be more precise, the day before it opened. I was in San Antonio and decided to go to SFFT. I saw POVs of IR, and didn't realize that it had only been open for the media so far. I got there and went up to Iron Rattler, and there was a worker at the entrance to the queue that asked me if I had some kind of pass (can't remember exactly what it was now). I said no and he said the official opening was the next day. I was really disappointed and asked him if there was any other way I could get in. He said if I bought and Iron Rattler shirt in the gift shop and wore it, I could ride. So I bought the shirt and rode it and it was amazing. Â I've also ridden Gatekeeper, Wild Eagle, Dare Devil Dive and InvadR in their first seasons.

Johnlloyd
So, since I can't include my home park, Canada's Wonderland, I'll have have to settle with Dorney Park. During my first visit to the park during June 2015, I took a ride on their Cedar Creek Flyers which was new for 2015. Â EDIT: If I were to add my home park, Canada's Wonderland I have been on Slingshot (2015), Skyhawk (2016), and Flying Eagles (2016) during their inaugural seasons. Â Keeping with the tradition of not including my home park, another ride I have been on during its debut season is the Time Machine at Seabreeze Amusement Park during my first visit to the park last week on my three day WNY park trip. The Time Machine is a custom designed Super Miami model ride. It gave a great ride and the restraints were very comfortable.

DoinItForTheFame
Hmmmm...  2017 - InvadR  2016 - Valravn  2013 - Iron Rattler  2011 - New Texas Giant  Yep, that about sums it up. . . Most of these were because I just happened to be at the park the year they opened. I don't really go out of my way to ride a coaster it's first year in operation. We plan our trips a year+ in advance, usually before a park has even announced their newest addition for the operating season that we will be there. So if I've ridden something in it's debut season it's just luck.

I did ride Kyary Pamyu Pamyu XR ride in May 2016 so maybe I can count that if I stretch a bit.  The only non-home park ride I can really count is the Flying Dinosaur. Good ride, but it left me with the impression that flying coasters are a dumb idea. Loops serve little purpose when you're only upside down on the ascent or descent. Also, the seating position is... awkward.
boldikus
I'm terrible @ this thread. Â Rougarou @ CP? Joker @ SFNE Delirium @ KD Â That's about all I got. Â If include GreatAdv I can count Joker, Zumanjaro, GASM. Not even Diablo (still haven't ridden it) or Justice League (haven't been since it opened, trying to change that soon). If I include Wildwood it would be a long list since I've been there every summer since I was an infant - basically every new addition in its opening season since the early 80s. MisterBrow
I'm terrible @ this thread.   Still a relative newbie to hobby at this level and so having trouble still.  I really count:  Rougarou Cobra's Curse Mako Joker at Great Adventure  because I watched those things go from rumor to built online. All of the other stuff over the years I might have been on and not known it was the first year.  My best credit is Universal Orlando 1st year. Free tickets to return and wait in ride breakdown lines again. Those rides had some Jay Bangs.
