FeelTheFORCE
Maybe I missed something, but I jut got back from Kennywood and didn't see any flags whatsoever by the Turnpike. I looked and looked for a good 15 minutes. The only thing I saw that could indicate future expansion in that area was caution tape tied around maybe 3-5 various trees in that area. I assume that means to either cut them down or save them. Â The one thing I did notice, however is if Kennywood gets rid of those picnic pavilions in that area, there is TONS of space to work with for a new coaster. It's a lot bigger than I had thought. What else would be neat would be a coaster that went over the road like Ravine Flyer II or Goliath (SFOG)...since that spot is so close to the front and all. I guess we'll find out Wednesday. netdvn
CW could be getting something huge in 2011...  2010~ Blue Splash/ Planet Snoopy (3 new rides) 2011~ Something Faster, Higher 2009~Halloween Haunt expansion  @CWMania, your foroums have it all wrong for 2010/ 2011 additions. Think blue for 2010 and think higher and faster for 2011.  "I'm a roller coaster junkie, If I could I would have them in my room. I like going FASTER, HIGHER. You will appreciate it"  Not sure if this is legit but I found this on Twitter not too long ago... Clicky
Millenniumfan94
I am thinking CW is a fine Candidate for an Intamin Giga. KD was definately not the last Giga....I expect 2 more in the CF chain very soon

KD was definately not the last Giga....I expect 2 more in the CF chain very soon  Not so sure about that. We just got a B&M hyper with Behemoth in 2008. A giga wouldn't make too much sense in the park. But...then again, there is Millennium Force and Magnum at CP.  I can see an Intamin accelerator along the lines of iSpeed being a good fit for the park. Zack44
There's a big rumor that SFKK's Chang is going to SFGAm for 2011 and that they are getting rid of Iron Wolf to make room for it. Â Here's the link (scroll down a bit)
netdvn
^ I really don't see this happening. If just seems very far-fetched that SF would be moving KK's signature ride to SFGAm and removing Iron Wolf. Unless of course, KK might be closing... Â ^^ The possible giga could be more of a speed-related layout like MF and I305 instead of an airtime-related layout like SD2K.
CorkscrewFoley
I have to wonder how long it'll be before SFGrAm does get the rumoured giga.
CorkscrewFoley
I went over to Screamscape, and apparently the management at Disney were at Europa Park. They didn't seem to impressed with the park, but showed quite an interest in both of Mack's watercoasters.

LcHg5265
In this years Golden Ticket Awards, Boulder Dash will come in #2 for the wooden coaster poll. Voyage will JUST BARELY beat out Boulder Dash to retain the number 1 spot.

StarWars
At Screamscape they're saying this about Hersheypark:  "Screamscape sources tell us that Hersheypark is looking into plans that would relocate Park Blvd on the south side of the park to take a new path through the old Country Club site. The old road will be removed allowing for Hersheypark to expand into the remainder of the property there over the years as needed."  http://screamscape.com/html/hersheypark.htm  I had a feeling ever since they closed down the Country Club that this would happen. They could potentially double the size of the park if they take advantage of that land. Perhaps they could build a B&M Hyper Coaster.
yankees15
If Hershey does indeed do this I sure hope they build some type of hyper or giga that has some track length.

TYTL
If Hersheypark does do that, I'll be so thrilled. I just hope they don't go for a record breaker, and go for a fun design, which is what they've always done, so not much concern about that.
