DarienLaker Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 ^I second that only if it's a smooth one!
JonnyRCT3 Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 GateKeeper running backwards. This would be fun.
rcjp Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 ^actually, its a family inverted coaster I would like to see a vekoma hypercoaster Me too. I would also like to see the "mega looping coaster" concept they show on their website come true.
coastercoaster5 Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 GateKeeper running backwards. This would be fun. You know I always thought that all wing riders should have the last 2 rows backwards. Same goes for a lot of coasters IMO.

I want to see a park buying a mega looper, or the Dive Pretzel coaster that its suppose to appear in 2015 (in China)
tarheel1231 Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 I don't know why I would think this, but I think in 2017 or 2018, Knott's could build a new racing hyper coaster by Chance. One side would be teal and the other side would be orange. They'd use the new Lightning Run trains and it would be 180 feet tall. I doubt this will happen, but I couldn't stop thinking about it.
dippindotsguy8 Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 How's this for a "crazy idea" that will likely never happen: Star-Flyers - That's right. A typical star flyer, but with Larson flyers attached to it rather than the usual swing seats. This would likely be the most terrifying ride to ever exist.
JonnyRCT3 Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 How's this for a "crazy idea" that will likely never happen: Star-Flyers - That's right. A typical star flyer, but with Larson flyers attached to it rather than the usual swing seats. This would likely be the most terrifying ride to ever exist. With more secured restraints, I could see this happening. However, I can see this suffering the same fate as the Windseekers, as it probably wouldn't operate in high winds. Here is another crazy idea involving tower swings. - A Windseeker with OTS vest restraints- You enter the seat normally- ride starts up the tower, while the seats slowly tilt towards 90° (like Falcon's Fury)- spin around at the top for about a minute before the gondola suddenly drops like a drop tower Of course there would have to be a more rigid hydraulic dampers added between swing poles. And additional ones added between each swing pole and the gondola structure for when the magnetic brakes kick in.
KingRCT3 Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 Who doesn't like Go-Kart? Who doesn't like racing games, such as Crash Team Racing or Mario Kart?.. So let me introduce you Kart 2.0, bringing the fun of those games in real life! (Check out IDeA Entertainment© on Facebook!)
Nrthwnd Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 ^ I thought this thread was about rumors and fantasy stuff. Not about anything that already existed.
COASTER FREAK 11 Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 This doesn't exists Bill. A Facebook page does not make a company. lol. Very fun concept though!
KingRCT3 Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 Oh yeah sorry, I forgot to mention, ''IDeA Entertainment'' is just me and nothing else.
DarienLaker Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 Speaking of wild and crazy ideas, how about a 200 foot tall wood/steel hybrid spinning coaster with a loop built RMC!

RMC_Hoodie Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 Here's ten crazy coaster ideas for Cedar Point, a park I've never been to. 1. Give Mean Streak a Topper Track refurbishment with a vertical drop and four inversions (2 zero-g rolls, 1 stall, 1 heartline). Keep the name. 2. Give Gemini RMC trains and a Topper Track treatment, without changing the layout. Paint it white. 3. Get rid of the headrests on Blue Streak. 4. Re-track and re-profile Corkscrew with Chance Morgan track. Give it new lap bar only trains. 5. If that works out, do the same for Magnum XL-200. 6. Purchase Banshee-style trains for Raptor. 7. Re-profile Millennium Force's hills for more airtime. 8. Remove Pipe Scream from the website's roller coaster list. 9. Replace Wicked Twister with a wooden version of SFDK's Superman, and call it "Twisted Wicker", just because. 10. Build the world's tallest tower coaster, and name it "Beacon of Nope". If possible, this one will have trains, rather than single cars.
10ryansmith Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 ^ I agree with Mean Streak. Not a bad ride, its nice to look at, but its a snooze fest. Gemini cant get Topper... Its already Iron Horse'd. lol. I see no reason to get ride of Wicked Twister.

The Wicked Twister one was supposed to be only half-serious. Twisted Wicker?
GwaziBSRider1 Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 ^ Twisted Wicker just screams "wooden coaster in China" to me.
rcjp Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 6. Purchase Banshee-style trains for Raptor. NOOOO!! Raptor is perfect the way it is.
RCF Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 6. Purchase Banshee-style trains for Raptor. NOOOO!! Raptor is perfect the way it is. Plus Banshee had to have wider track for those trains, so they can't install the new trains on older rides. Reason why they also weren't used for Rougarou.
rcjp Posted November 26, 2014 Posted November 26, 2014 ^Does it really have wider track? I know the trains are wider and, therefore, there could be clearance issues if they were to be fitted on an older invert but are you sure about the track? (just out of curiosity)

(just out of curiosity) I seem to recall having this discussion when banshee first started construction. Everyone kept saying the track is the same, the trains just require more distance between the track and other objects (supports, station walls, etc).

I remember talk of the track having to become wider as well. I can't remember where exactly I heard it.
KingRCT3 Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Inspired by a ride simulation called Nova (I can't find it again on the Internet, sadly) and the cute , I imagined an extreme S&S flat-ride: the Swing Shot. Basically an upside-down Screamin' Swing, where the seats always face upward for the maximum airtime. Here it is, in the loading position. The arm is lowered, and the counterweight decoupled. Then the counterweight is lifted up by the two jacks and the ride is ready to go... A kaboom later, riders are send straight up in the air, experiencing a mind-blowing -1g airtime for several seconds. Then it goes back-and-forth for several massive airtime moments! At the end, the arm stops in the straight-up position, the counterweight is decoupled again and the seats slowly get back to earth. I don't want to spam with thread with pictures and everything, so I'll leave this link here with more pics.
