DoinItForTheFame Posted May 2, 2020 Posted May 2, 2020 Is it sad that I can’t even remember anymore...?
Haunting Posted May 2, 2020 Posted May 2, 2020 The Big Apple Coaster (I still call it the Manhattan Express), a couple weeks before Vegas shut down in March. I actually enjoyed the ride, despite it having hard seats. Â Next coaster tbd. It might be next year.
Eyebrows Posted May 2, 2020 Posted May 2, 2020 After thinking about it pretty hard, all I could come up with was “something at KD.” It’s kinda scary that I don’t remember!  As for cancelled trip that hit me hardest, probably my band trip to Dollywood. I was looking forward so much to riding LRod, and being with my friends would have made it so much cooler. But, like anything else planned from March to August if this year, didn’t happen.
AndrewA86 Posted May 2, 2020 Posted May 2, 2020 Ghostrider at Knotts... I'm really thankful now for my So Cal trip in February...
cparkes92 Posted May 3, 2020 Posted May 3, 2020 Revenge of the Mummy at Universal Studios Florida on March 12. Thankfully my scheduled Orlando trip was just concluding when the parks announced their closures!
Eyebrows Posted May 3, 2020 Posted May 3, 2020 I actually just remembered! I rode the SBF spinner at Fun Land of Fredericksburg in early January. Yeah, I would have picked something better if I knew that all this would have happened.
Nrthwnd Posted May 3, 2020 Posted May 3, 2020 Is it sad that I can’t even remember anymore...?  Yes.  Yes, it is.
ice1972 Posted May 3, 2020 Posted May 3, 2020 Riddler Revenge at SFNE on New Years Day......we rode it 3 straight times without getting off.....it was cold AF but only like 3 riders on it...lol
ytterbiumanalyst Posted May 3, 2020 Posted May 3, 2020 New Year's Day for me as well, whatever we rode last at Silver Dollar City that day.
DoinItForTheFame Posted May 5, 2020 Posted May 5, 2020 Is it sad that I can’t even remember anymore...?  Yes.  Yes, it is.  I can remember that it had wheels... And rolled on a track! - But that's about it...
boldikus Posted May 5, 2020 Posted May 5, 2020 Nitro back in early January. Longest dry spell in years, this blows.
ytterbiumanalyst Posted May 5, 2020 Posted May 5, 2020 ^ I feel you. Got really used to that ten week off-season. This is definitely a tough time.
boldikus Posted May 5, 2020 Posted May 5, 2020 Yeah between HITP since 2015 and then starting to squeeze in the Florida/Virginia trips in March the last few years, this is starting to hurt. It's a small gripe though. I'm on like day 53 or something of WFH, I just want to go back to the office already!
Nrthwnd Posted May 5, 2020 Posted May 5, 2020 If Playland had opened this past weekend, it would have been 8 months and a few days since I was last there, riding Coaster. Â But I did have the Disney Resort and Knott's last September, for a few coaster rides. Go Matterhorn!!!
Airtime&Gravity Posted May 5, 2020 Posted May 5, 2020 Well, it should have been a coaster at Busch Gardens Williamsburg a couple of weeks ago, but it was a rain soaked Leviathan ride about a year ago.
ytterbiumanalyst Posted May 6, 2020 Posted May 6, 2020 Yeah between HITP since 2015 and then starting to squeeze in the Florida/Virginia trips in March the last few years, this is starting to hurt. It's a small gripe though. I'm on like day 53 or something of WFH, I just want to go back to the office already! At least you got that. I worked from home for like two weeks before getting laid off. I'd like to go back to any office, but when it's safe.
Johnlloyd Posted May 6, 2020 Posted May 6, 2020 The last coaster I rode was Dragon Fyre at Canada's Wonderland on October 27th. Â

I'm lucky to have switched jobs last year to one that allows me to work from home, my last job I would have still had to go in or been laid off. I am trying to remember to appreciate that but I just want to go back to work. I am ready to go whenever they tell me its cool - I'll wear a mask, wash my hands and bike instead of public transit etc etc . I hate hate hate working from home.
djcoastermark Posted May 6, 2020 Posted May 6, 2020 Six Flags Over Georgia, late December, Twisted Cyclone with a last ride on Goliath. Dang it was cold ! By mid January, we began having doubts about going out much.

I've been biking a lot recently too (Springfield is maybe the size physically of the part of downtown Philly between the two rivers and art museum south to the stadiums--easy enough to get around).
