Claustrophobia Rides

For me, I really hate rides in which they squish more than two people in a row (except for B&M's). Especially if there's not a lot of room in a whole row, or if they have a whole bunch of heavy restraints on the ride.

 

For me, the winner of this type of ride goes to: The Looping Starship at Valleyfair!

I went on the same thing at Carowinds! The restraints are to tight and it hangs you updown for like 1 minute! Ehg last time I'd ride it.

Nightwing at SFNE made me claustrophobic

Both the George Foreman Grill rides I've done made me quite nauseous and cramped. As do the Fabbri spinning things at Flamingoland and Camelot.

Chance Toboggans make me feel really claustrophobic.

 

And yeah, Looping Starship at VF! is awful (those restraints are nightmarish when they stop you upside down as well).

Highrollers/Crazy Trains are the most claustrophobic rides ever! You basically sit inside a heavily padded box that is just big enough for two people side by side. My head toched the ceiling every time it went upside down, since the lap bar was like a big foam cylinder about 1 foot wide that had a lot of give to it. The worst part is that the glass in front of you is so clouded with cigar smoke, vomit, and who knows what else that you can't even see the people sitting across from you! The movement of the cars is very rough, so you get slammed around in the cage the whole time. It's such a weird, awesome experience! Don't ever pass up the chance to ride one of these things if you have never ridden one, because it's just so strange; you have to experience it for yourself!

Those George Foreman Grill Huss Flyaways are probably the most claustrophobic I've ever been on.

One of those Top Spin rides- those are like 15 people to a row and thet squish you all together to make it more compact!

I love top spin rides but you have nooo armroom and it gets really annoying.

i would say a mack watercoaster cos there you are seated four across and all of you share one long lap bar and to be able to secure all the biggest person(usually me) is getting crushed by the bar.

Eyerly Rock-O-Plane!!

^Roll-O-Planes suck a lot more. Especailly when you squeeze 3 people into them. My hip is still bruised (rode it on Sat.). The ride is fun, but the poor design of the door (big metal thing jamming into your side) really kills it if there are 3 people.

When you fill Arrow Log Flume boats to their fullest (5 people), and they are all full-grown, it is very cramped. But it's a crapload of fun.

Skydiver's. They're only Fair models but DANG I was freaking out.

I cant believe no ones mentioned the zipper yet!!! You sit in those little whistle-shaped cars with nothing but a little padded lapbar. When I rode it we flipped 34 times in a row, my head kept hitting the top of the cage because it was so small. But I'd kill to ride it again, I love that ride

Even more scrunched up (and even more fun) are Rock-O-Planes.

How about that one tobaggan ride where they close the car on top of you? I haven't been on it, but it looks like it could be extremely claustrophobic.

You are not alone. If it wasn't for that little bit of air blowing on your face, I would freak out.

^ I forgot to think about that one... it is pretty darn claustrophobic. It's strange, but I think that air helps so much with the claustrophobia.

Nearly anything by Eyerly is pretty bad along with the Larson High Roller/Crazy Trains and the older Larson Super Loop/ Ring Of Fire models

I defnintely have to agree with the Zipper and Ring of Fire rides. The last fair I went to, they sat me in the front (back?) seat of the ring of fire. There was less room in that seat than in the other seats - but I figured that I was going to be riding alone so it would be all right. WRONG - right before the ride took off, they put a little kid (by little I mean age...) that was probably 9 years old and almost outweighed me in the cabin with me.

 

SQUISH!

 

Not so much fun on that one.

Those Scrambler rides could fit in with these. Especially if you have an older sibling by, like, a year or two. I have an older sister, and I hate being squashed by her.

The Zipper gives me some but I love that ride. And yes Roll O Planes to.
