From the Bristol Press:

Lake Compounce plans Friday to announce "the single largest investment" the nation's oldest amusement park has ever made.

So hyped for tomorrow! Look for updates around 10am.

This has awesome written all over it. I can't wait, the possibilities are very wide.

Well Boulder Dash was only 6 million so we know it will be more expensive than that.

What price do Euro-Fighters generally go for? One of those makes sense for this park, I was even thinking a launch coaster from Gerstlauer along the lines of Anubis: The Ride and Lynet.

A premier terrain launcher that goes up into the woods like Boulder Dash (but far enough away that you can't see it when riding BD, so both rides are isolated). How awesome would that be?

New triple launch roller coaster "Phobia" coming to Lake Compounce! More details will be posted here as they come in!

Hoping for more than a sky loop! A Sky Rocket type ride would be great for the park.

Agreed. I'd love to see more coasters like Sky Rocket.

Premier teased an announcement on their facebook page this morning, the post said hint was Nutmeg, not sure what that clue means but we'll see. It's about time that park got something to go along with Boulder Dash.

^Whoops, didn't see the post on the previous page. Although I am still curious what the Nutmeg clue means?

Sounds like it's more similar to Full Throttle than Sky Rocket or the Superman clones, should be exciting!

(edit) nevermind, looks like another Skyloop, so there's that.

That sounds really compelling and creative. I'm most interested in how the claustrophobia part will work - I love coasters that dive in and out of buildings.

This, boulderdash, and the classic woodie make Lake Compounce a pretty decent destination for enthusiasts in 2016.

Awesome addition for the park! Will be taking out Enterprise and the pathway by the Ferris Wheel. Jerry also said most of the phobias were just to throw people off.

Sky Rocket II. It's an awesome coaster, but if you've ridden one clone, there's no reason to ride another clone except to be a credit wh*re.

(Shoutout to cfc for the commentary, by the way)

Not even knowing all the details yet this looks like a great addition to the park. Never been here, but with Boulder Dash and now a Premiere launcher this place is on the map for must visits next year!

A nickname for Connecticut is "The Nutmeg State".

And I was hoping for "Egg Nog: The Ride."

I know there's a lot of these Superman: Ultimate Flight clones out now but these actually look really fun! I'm not mad .

Solid ride, good addition to go along with Boulder Dash. I rode Tempesto a few weeks back and it was really fun. Happy to have a clone closer to home.

These Premier rides are fun, and a good way to fit a "big" ride in a small space.

Perhaps an Egg Nog Challenge on the next TPR event?

Wasn't what I was expecting, but I'm glad the park is adding a new steel coaster. It will be nice to get a chance to finally ride one of these close to home.
