XII
My friends and I are thinking ofvisiting the park either Wednesday or Thursday, what type of crowd should we expect since Spring Break is in session, and should I go early in the morning to process my pass? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Considering that it'll be Spring Break, it'll most likely be very busy. I'd get there very early to process your pass and try and get ahead of everyone else. I'd also recommend hitting up the back of the park first since its much less crowded in the morning and take advantage the single riders lines for Riddlers, Green Lantern, and Lex Luthor. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. I don't go to SFMM on weekdays since I live two hours away, but for the season pass processing line, I wouldn't worry about it. The pass processing line usually doesn't go over 20 minutes in wait at this time of year. I didn't get to the park until about 4:30 yesterday and the season pass line was still looking to be about 45 minutes long. I'm sure it was worse in the morning. GigaG
I guess that particular element could be called an ampersand then. Shambala wants to have a word with you... And Storm Runner says you stole his flying snake dive... And then called it a dive drop, even though it is more similar - though definitely not - a dive loop
Guy T. Koepp
Interesting. I kinda thought it looked like the Breast Cancer Awareness Ribbon. Breast Cancer Awareness! The Ride!
Coasterguy21
Hahahahaha. This ride has gone through so many names. Obviously the marketing department started it with YOLO in the video (which lead to it being known as YOLOcoaster here), but now all the other ones are becoming even more hilarious. Of course YOLOcoaster will always be the favorite (and I love that many of us will be out there in line and calling it that as the general public looks at us like we're crazy). So we have 1-YOLOcoaster 2-Ampersand: The Ride 3-Breast Cancer Awareness: The Ride ...I'll make a friendly wager that we'll see at least three more names before the coaster opens. Any takers? Wish I could make it out to the West Coast to ride Full Throttle this year, but that isn't going to happen. Oh well, maybe next year. Looks to be a good ride. MNCoasterlover
^ No offense, but you can't come in and on your second post ever tell us to retire a term the has bonded us all so well. I mean, everyone only lives once... except James Bond, he lives twice. No, Chuck Norris lives twice. Chuck Norris dies, Death just hasn't told him yet, he's scared. Sidra
Went to the park today for the first time in about 18 months. My kid Morgan has finally hit 54" (slowest growing 10 year old in the world) and it was well past time to hit up some new credits. I was expecting it to be crowded with spring break, but it wasn't that bad. We got to the still not open parking lot a little after 9:30 (after breaking a land speed record from San Diego). The worst line we waiting in all day was season pass processing. Over an hour. They really need to figure out something better than what they are doing. I didn't expect everything to be open so early in the season, but everything we went to was. And they were running multiple trains where needed. Load times are still slow compared to other parks, the park is still dirty, but we had a good time. Rode Tatsu, then Apocalypse, Riddler's, Batman, Green Lantern (ugh), Morgan rode the Flash and Wonder Woman flat rides, then over to Scream, Colossus, late lunch, Goliath, Viper, X2, Ninja, Superman, checked out the in place Full Throttle track and Orient back down the hill. Morgan grabbing the YOLOcoaster Pretty much the same picture that Greg posted. Love this twist

Brassinthegrass
This ride legitimately looks like every coaster logo "swoosh" track, made in real life! I hope it rides as good as it look!
Sir Clinksalot
Full Throttle Update for March 25. Since Robb is off on the TPR Trip Down Under (the US) I told him I'd take care of this weeks update. I'll try and be mildly entertaining. And here we all thought SFMM was getting a Full Throttle, in fact they are getting a Vekoma Flyer to replace the remaining flat rides at the park. The ride will be themed to Aquaman's 2nd cousin Mono Lake Dude. Standing on top of the flyers loop we can see the coaster formally known as Full Throttle. Flying off the track at this angle sure would have been fun. Apparently this part of Full Throttle was going to pull 3.14159265359 G's. Mono Lake Dude would like this part. Hopefully Coke Freestyle will still be available here in all your favorite Mono Lake Dude flavors. Station or something. Bonzai!!! It's like the Top Hat track is mounting the loop track. Kinky Coaster? YOLO Overview. This is where one of the two trains will live 51 1/2 weeks out of the year. YOLO Flyover. Seriously, the track is pretty low here. Best case scenario is the blue fence moving on the other side of the support. Worst case scenario, nets on the bottom of the track. Holy Twist Mono Lake Dude! YOLO Zoooooom!!! This will look pretty awesome once the construction equipment is gone. Heading into the "Top" hat. YOLO Tower! Swoosh the ride? Tunnel Vision Charlie Brown would be proud. Black is so thinning. More erections near the station. After Loop Into Top hat Double the pleasure There is a sign telling you what bus to take all the way over there. See If you are like 93.2% of other people you will walk to the old pick-up area before seeing this sign.
