coastercoaster5
I will always say Twisted Colossus and rarely TC. I mean typing I will write TC but talking always Twisted Colossus.
Superbatboy
I find it odd that Psyclone sat in the exact same spot as Apocalypse for 15 years and never really changed colors.
GCI Wooden
Seriously enough with the retarded SFMM nicknames. Â THIS! Â TC or Colossus (and if you absolutely must, TCol, but even that is dumb) works just fine, we don't need stuff like "TwiCo", that just sounds stupid. Â TC or Colossus (and if you absolutely must, TCol, but even that is dumb) works just fine, we don't need stuff like "TwiCo", that just sounds stupid. Â I totally agree with this. It has always annoyed me when people make up nicknames for rides. You can call it by its full name (Twisted Colossus), you can call it by a portion of its full name (Colossus), or you can abbreviate it to initials (TC). Anything else just doesn't work. Â Although it's a few pages back now, I'd also like to say that Twisted Colossus is simply looking amazing. That's one of the best looking rides I've seen in some time, and it's absolutely stunning in person. I can't wait to see what it looks like when it's done and I'm interested to see how different Scream will appear by the time I next visit the park (possibly not until Twisted Colossus opens, but I may get up there before then). Password121
Magic Mountain and RMC coasters aren't the only ones that have nicknames. They are, however, the only ones that are annoying as hell. Â (See I-305)
rcjp
and no one calls it "Orun" and if they did, I would punch them in the balls.
PhantomNick
Seriously enough with the retarded SFMM nicknames. Â NTAG exists because New Texas Giant was a lot to write. Only idiots use "irat" because "Rattler" is just fine and only 4 characters longer, and no one calls it "Orun" and if they did, I would punch them in the balls. Â Count me as another who dislikes ride nicknames. Do we have to shorten and abbreviate everything?? Â Robb, when I read that last part, all I could picture is how that could make for a very hilarious "public service announcement" kind of video! Mr Stratosphere
Hey everyone, I didn't have the opportunity to share my experience at the park on Saturday. My buddy has never been to SFMM so we decided to make a quick trip to this and Disney, we had a really good day at the park. I do have to say I was pleasantly surprised with Holiday in the Park, families really seemed to be enjoying themselves. It was awesome seeing the park all lit up with holiday lights from on top of Lex Luthor Drop of Doom. Â Our first ride of 2015 is X2, and it was running really well and audio was working on both trains. Â I must say it was very odd riding Ninja without the thick foliage that used to surround the ride, but I am glad the ride is open. It had a full queue most of the day, but there are warning sings that they were running only one train. (Batman was also running one train and Superman only had one side running, the left car was being worked on.) Â Even though the park was only open from 10:30AM to 8:00PM, there was a decent amount of people in the park, and it seemed to get busier as the sun set and guests came in to see the holiday decorations. Â Because my friend has never been to the park, we obviously had to ride everything! Rides that I am normally weary of I had no issues with on Saturday, Viper was running very well, the train we rode looked like it had all new parts and wheels, Revolution was fine because I rode defensively, but I think I rode too defensively because I ended up giving myself a headache! Â I did want to mention lunch, we had lunch at JB's BBQ (across from Riddler's Revenge), and the food was really good, I ended up getting a chicken sandwich and their homemade potato chips, which were really good! There was this employee who was walking around asking if everyone was enjoying their food and that she hopes everyone was having a great day at the park, I hope to see more of this! Â I didn't take too many photos, but I'll share them below. Gotta love how SFMM welcomes you. Holiday in the Park! DC Universe celebrates the Holiday Season! Amazing how much has been taken off of this turnaround! They ran light shows that lasted about 5 minutes each, every 15 minutes. First ride of 2015, X2, and it was running really well and Audio was working!
ytterbiumanalyst
^Rather, TCol seems to be the one many have agreed on. It's your typical Rocky Mountain nickname, along the lines of Ntag, Irat & Orun. No one calls it Orun. I've not heard that even once. Maybe it's a California thing, but around here, everyone calls it Outlaw Run.

Don't worry guys. I, as well as everybody, never say Orun. I just made that up because it fit with the theme of RMC nicknames. But I know a person who refers to Millennium force as Lennie. Stuff513
LOL glad I'm not the only one who finds coaster nicknames/petnames extremely weird. I cringe when I see people call Magnum XL-200 "Maggi.e" or Millenium Force "Millie," etc... Garet
I miss the click word filter after the texas giant incident. Mainly just because I'm vain and liked seeing something i'd contributed show up on TPR That and when one of my pictures was used on the TPR facebook and I saw 2,000 people like it. Made a nice change from the original photo which just got 1 like which I think was my grandmother

thrillseeker4552
^There seems to be an issue with users double posting lately. It has happened to me a couple times recently as well. Â Back on topic, I read some Instagram/Twitter posts that mention new trains for Scream along with its new coat of paint. The commenter claimed they had spoken with the park president, but who knows if that is entirely true. Has anyone heard anything about new trains? While it would be great to see some next-generation B&M floorless trains, it just doesn't seem like something Six Flags would do (considering how they didn't upgrade the trains for Boomerang when it went from SFOT to SFSL). DJeXeL
I honestly don't see Scream getting new trains.
WFChris
^There were lots of random Scream train parts sitting amongst the ride on Sunday, so I'm thinking an extensive train rehab will happen. I don't see why it would need brand new trains, though. Â Oh and by the way, I'm a defender of Scream, I love the ride, but on Sunday, I noticed this fabled 'rattling' that everybody seems to complain about. While I did get a good knock to the ear entering and exiting the Cobra Roll, it's still nothing I would ever really notice or complain about. My buddy said he didn't notice anything at all.
