Since I've only ridden one Arrow... Viper at SFMM... The seats have so little legroom that I felt like I was on a kiddie coaster... Plus, the trim brakes on that thing are so annoying that I was thinking "WHAT IS UP WITH ALL THIS HEADBANGING BACK AND FORTH?!" by the middle of the ride...

Your favorite track support!
vjgx replied to jarmor's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I love Tatsu's deluxe-sized supports... especially the so-large-it's-uncalled-for mega footer of doom... -
Elissa's got a "son" and he's an idiot
vjgx replied to Corkscrewed's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Wow, that's just dumb. I posted a comment on that video about how he's gonna "get it" if he does that again... -
Yeah, Guitar Hero is a bunch of fun... I've played it before at Best Buy. I'm not that great at it, but for obvious reasons... I've only played it once.

Favorite Restrants.

I'd have to say my favorite is the B&M OTSR... I don't really have any problem with Arrow OTSRs, because my head doesn't get banged around... but shoulders only do. -
B&M vs Intamin
vjgx replied to alpengeistdude321's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Well, I haven't really been on an Intamin yet, but after experiencing a few B&Ms, I cannot imagine any coaster smoother than one. Therefore, I voted for B&M... Plus, does Intamin have flying coasters like Tatsu? Nope (at least I don't think!). Flying coasters are awesome. -
Best (and worst) "Sounds" on a coaster
vjgx replied to Jon Sabo's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
The sound of Tatsu or X's train going into or out of the station... the weird high-pitched whine is just really weird. I also love Tatsu's lift hill... it's like a series of small deep "clunks"... Least favorite: The brakes at the end of any coaster... that means that it's over! -
TOP 5 B&M INVERTED COASTERS

I play guitar a bit and I'm good at procrastinating...

PLEASE change my title to: Generic B&M Fanboy #42 Thanks!

Both of those are untrue. They may have been true when the rides were opened, so they're probably trying to look all cool by boasting about previous record-holdings. I've seen a POV of Dragon Mountain and it's basically a lame terrain-coaster with a couple of loops, and not much speed.

^^ Yes, that's true. After my first B&M, I was no longer scared either... They really do leave a good impression on you!

^ Good thinking. Desperado = PAIN!!! Viper = Painful fun!!! Any B&M = FUN!!!!

Eh, look at my signature... I'm too lazy to check what the last song I listened to was. I'm going to bed anyway... goodnight.

The original Juicyfruit!

^^ Ah yes, that's a good idea. Take your time, and it'll be much easier to take in the higher intensity levels. Just work your way up (although I didn't and I ended up fine) through the levels of coaster intensity, and I do believe it will be much easier to adjust. On the contrary though, I did anything but that... I went from Jaguar! to Viper, and then ended up on Tatsu 2 coasters later... huge intensity jump for me, but in a way it helped me lose my fears faster. Just do whatever you're comfortable with, and you'll get used to the whole ride experience over time.

I do believe that one reason for your development of roller-coaster fear may have been the roughness of Viper... I have been on Viper too ( ) and I was somewhat left with a bad impression of coasters by it's roughness, seeing as it was my first big coaster. Just ride a B&M or something smoother... You'll learn to love them in no time!

My avatar is what happened when I got just a BIT carried away with Photoshop. Juuuuuuuuuuuust a bit.

I'm too lazy to look and see if anyone's said this yet, but here I go: Your mom's so fat, that when she walked by the TV I missed three episodes! Also: Your mom's so fat, that instead of God saying "let there be light", he said "move over!" Your mom's so fat, that when she goes to the movies she sits next to everyone!

No glasses on Tatsu and Xcelerator
vjgx replied to shepp's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
In that case... THANK GOD I went with my instincts and gave my cellphone to my brother when I rode it... I just had a bad feeling about that happening! -
Looks like you had a great time... Unfortunately, rumor has it that Tatsu's gotten softer wheels to lessen the g-force, etc. during the ride, especially on the pretzel loop... I heard that a few weeks after it opened. Luckily, I got to ride it on opening day, so I know what to compare to next time I'm there... I'm gonna see if the rumor's true. But yeah, the g-force on the pretzel loop is pure insanity... and to make it more insane, it was only my 4th big coaster ever. But still, I loved it... Edit: Oh, and is X REALLY that rough?! I keep hearing mixed reviews about it... my friends say it's really smooth, but everyone here says that it hurts... I plan on riding it in a couple of months.
