  1. In my opinion, the best solution for this would be the following rule: No glasses without Croakies. Croakies = OK; No Croakies = No. Makes sense to me...
  2. I'll always remember this... When I was waiting in line for my first ride on Tatsu, there was a man who got on and looked totally confident. Then, from the second the seats flipped into position until the first drop, I could hear him screaming "OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD" over and over again... I wasn't on the ride, but I was laughing my head off from it... and it takes a lot for me to laugh at midnight... About 20 minutes later, I got on Tatsu. Best ride ever... but I could see how some people would be afraid. Flying postion feels really insecure and awkward, for the first few seconds at least.
  3. Seeing from my Coaster Count... this is an easy one. I'd have to say Tatsu. Alone, the ending isn't bad at all. Why didn't I like the ending? Because I didn't think it was over yet. I had no idea what Tatsu's layout was like, or how long it was. My friend told me that it was 3 and 1/2 minutes long... big overstatement. We went into the brakes and I'm like "wiiiii midcourse brake run" and then we just stop and I'm like "WHAT?!"... so yeah, it was just the fact that I was expecting it to continue that made it disappointing. Also, I didn't know it was the end because I couldn't see the track in front of us (you're facing the ground on Tatsu)... Oh well. Tatsu still rocks!
  4. "There's always one guy... who forgets that he's wearing 3D glasses."
  5. Best that I've been on: Tatsu Unfortunately, that's an easy decision. I've only been on 4 coasters!
  6. I can't remember if I posted in here yet... Oh well. Since I'm a coaster newb who's only ridden 4 big coasters, I'd have to say Viper at SFMM. Smoothest: Tatsu! EDIT: DANG IT, I already posted this in here earlier... Sorry.
  7. Ohhhhhh jeez... more silly board names... WHEN WILL IT END?!
  8. Thanx a lot! ..where can I buy this Fast Passes? only4rides? which ones?do you have some suggest? Thanx again! You can buy Fast Passes at the park, by the front offices I think. I've never used Fast Passes before, but if you ask the staff by the front gate they can direct you.
  9. The only legal way I know of to get through the lines faster is by buying Fast Passes. These are $15 punch-card-type things that can be used on 4 rides each. Usually, even with Fast Passes, you will still have to wait in line with whoever else has them too, but the lines will be shorter overall.
  10. That video may be old, but it's still funny as heck. What's even funnier is that it's the truth.
  11. Woohoo, another update! I don't know what it is, but something about R&E's photo TRs makes them so great. It's just the whole TPR experience that makes them so entertaining to view, and this is easily my favorite set of message boards on the internet... Anyway... I'm still waiting for another chance of INCRIMINATING EVIDENCE!
  12. Hah, looks like you are all having a great time! "How disappointed are we? VERY!" So yeah... there's always next time for more incriminating evidence! Hope the rest of your trip goes well! (I look forward to the updates...)
  13. Hmm... definitely interesting, and definitely unique. Good job!
  14. Very well then... Have a great time! I've already ridden Tatsu and I can assure you that you'll have a great time on it!
  15. I smell Photoshop or another Church Sign Generator... but if it's not, that's creepy.
  16. My first major application to a community was on the Nintendo NSider Forums. Since I was into the two games Viewtiful Joe and F-Zero GX at the time, my screenname for that was ViewtifulGX991. Shortly after, I started to use a shortened version, vjgx. Ever since then (a few years ago), I've used it everywhere...
  17. Mine is a little accident that happened when I decided to fool around in Photoshop with a picture of Ronald McDonald.
  18. All the brakes on Viper at SFMM. Those things hurt. Also, the pretzel loop on Tatsu. It's awesome as heck, but just one ride on it was enough to make me dizzy for the rest of the night... Insane g-force, I tell ya. Not that I don't like the pretzel loop - I actually love it... it just makes me dizzy, though.
  19. One of these: http://www.ridezone.com/rides/coasters/talon/talon20010588/20010531s-15.jpg
  20. Actually, that might be it...
  21. Only if you consider 38mph fast.... You can find facts about all of the roller coasters at SFGAdv here (where it says "Existing Roller Coasters"). Does inversions mean flips? Yes. An inversion is any part of a coaster in which you go upside-down. I saw once on a television show a roller coaster that not only flipped 360 but it twisted on its sides too. Do you know what this is? Are you talking about http://pictures.rcdb.com/picmax/six-flags-magic-mountain/riddlers-revenge10.jpg? That's basically a half-loop into a twist, but I'm not sure what it's called... I'm still kinda n00bish. Nope its like it twisted on itself instead of flipping straight 360 it pretty much twisted 360 on itself... lol I donno how to explain but it was blue if that helps. Hmm... I'm not sure what you're referring to... You may want to wait for a more knowledgable user to come and answer this question. Sorry...
