Well, I have a new "roughest coaster"! GhostRider at KBF!! The roughness was kinda fun at first... but I got tired of it after feeling the pain of the turn at the bottom of the first drop... from there on, it was just plain nasty! I came off with one of the worst headaches I've ever had... I don't care how much you GR/KBF fanboys love it, all I know is that I'm never riding it again! Edit: I rode it again a few times... I like it now.

I'm gonna ask again, now that you're back from the UK Trip... Can you please change mine to "Generic B&M Fanboy #42"? Thanks a bunch!

Well, everyone has their own opinion. I hear a bunch of people going on about how great GhostRider is. I rode it for the first time the other day, and I can see where they're getting the positive review material, but for me it was just too rough to continually be much fun. I mean, I like the whole rough/out-of-control feeling of most wooden coasters, but not if it's so rough that it hurts! Oh well...

^ Maybe because some people (including me) don't like to come off a roller coaster with a huge headache! I mean, the ride was fun, but the pain on the turns and from the ensuing headache ruined it for me.

Thanks for the advice, but I wasn't able to get it before I went... now I'm back. I'll do a TR or photo TR later, but two things: Ghostrider = PAIN: THE RIDE (I still have a headache from it... 5 hours later) And Xcelerator wasn't open... I really wanted to ride that. Otherwise, I had a great day and the crowds weren't very big at all...

For inverted coasters, I prefer positive Gs... It just feels weird and cool. For normal coasters, definitely hangtime. It's one of those sensations that makes you go "whoooooooooooa"...

Laffy Taffy by D4L... it sounds like a bunch of stoned gangstas in the basement fooling around with a microphone and an electronic keyboard, and it makes no sense it all... How it got to the upper charts is beyond me...

I'm going to Knott's for the first time in a few years this Sunday (the 25th), and I want a few things answered so i can get the best experience: What rides should I ride, and in what order? Are there any really rough rides that I should avoid? What's the best time to ride Xcelerator? No matter what, I'm going to Silver Bullet first (an attempt to accustom someone I know to roller coasters)... is that a good idea? And anything else in terms of advice would be nice... Thanks!
