  1. Haruspex (Live) by The Mars Volta
  2. A VERY close tie between DragonForce and The Mars Volta! Both the bands are awesome in different ways, and I have every CD by each of them... (and yes I'm getting Amputechture by TMV when it's released Tuesday!! ) Discography for each band: Dragonforce: Valley of the Damned Sonic Firestorm Inhuman Rampage The Mars Volta: Deloused in the Comatorium Frances the Mute Tremulant [EP] Scab Dates [Live] Amputechture (coming out on Tues.!)
  3. Just a question... Is it just me or does Ghostrider beat the living HECK out of you?!! I really didn't like it too much last time I rode it...
  4. ^^Ah, I see. And yeah, I noticed that it's LAX 'cause that's my local airport...
  5. Yeah... Since both of the earlier nicknames end with "ie", Mavvie is definitely the best...
  6. I know it's a bit off-topic and all, but I have a question. Why did you take those pictures in an airport? Anyway, cool hoodies... I might consider getting one! (maybe)
  7. I deem this the "Best PTR of September 9th, 2006" award.
  8. Good video, but the whole EEJANAIKA EEJANAIKA EEJANAIKA thing gets old after about 30 seconds...
  9. The worst I've ridden is Hurricane at Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. The one time I rode it I was surprised I didn't come off with whiplash... Source: RCDB
  10. Although I already posted it earlier, my first looping coaster was Viper at SFMM. But I didn't like that all that much. Headache-inducing sensory overload, seeing as that was my quick transition from coasterphobic to have-ridden-a-coaster. The first looping coaster that I actually liked, and which also got rid of my (even more heightened after Viper) fear of roller coasters, was The Riddler's Revenge! B&M Goodness!
  11. Any good woodie with old Morgan trains (the ones with the single bar that only goes down to about a foot above your lap)... every bit of airtime is thrilling because it feels like you'll fly out!
  12. Wow, this ride looks great... Yet another reason why I'm doing my best to get to CP next summer! Oh yeah, and it's NOT an Aquatrax!!
  13. According to cedarpoint.com: "The Secret's Out Today!" Yet, there's still no news release or anything like that.
  14. My two cents on this thread: What we've seen of the new coaster is pretty cool, but not godly enough to warrant such a huge thread... Although, half of the thread is spam and repeated postings of information and ideas... Oh, and one more thing. I just love that dang flying Snoopy thing at the top of cedarpoint.com...
  15. Wow, that video looks great... Now I wanna visit CP even more!!
  16. ^ Good point... Plus, I'd never buy a coaster seat cushion for more than maybe 10-15 bucks... I'm not that crazy!
  17. Wow, these are awesome!! Now I suddenly have the urge to make one of these things...
  18. Counter-Strike Source.
  19. Cool pictures! It's pretty amazing how your face looks kinda similar nowadays...
  20. 1. Tatsu 2. Deja Vu (SFMM) 3. The Riddler's Revenge 4. Batman: The Ride (SFMM) 5. Scream! 6. Goliath (SFMM) 7. Silver Bullet 8. Ninja (SFMM) 9. Giant Dipper (SCBB) 10. Montezooma's Revenge
  21. Back in May, I was at SFMM for my friend's birthday party. It was my first time riding roller coasters. Anyway, I had just gotten off my first non-kiddy coaster ever, Viper. Unfortunately, Viper was so rough that it left a terrible impression on me. After that, my friend had us all get into line for the Riddler's Revenge. Although it isn't bigger than Viper, the whole standing-up thing and recent memories of what Viper was like made me terrified. I almost didn't get in line -- I felt sick with fear. I was very afraid of my head getting bashed around even more and that the standup position would be even more uncomfortable than Viper's tiny hard plastic seats... Because it was Tatsu's opening day, the line was quite long. With breakdowns, we ended up waiting about 3 hours. 90% of the time in line, I merely stood there quietly contemplating what it would be like. I was afraid of more pain, and more steep drops (I had not gotten used to drops yet). Eventually, I got on. On the way up the lift, I asked my friend (who was wearing his iPod earbuds on the way up, hehe) if it was going to be fun and smooth. He said yes, but somehow I didn't believe him. From the second we started the drop, I've been a coaster fanatic ever since. If I had not forced myself on Riddler's, I might never have gotten on a roller coaster again... and THAT would be a big mistake.
  22. ^ Heh. Why didn't I see that a couple weeks ago?
  23. OH NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! Heh. I love these threads... Great job with the Photoshopping, Wes!
  24. Whaaaa? I am officially confused.
  25. "The Energy" - Audiovent
